BBQ Week...

BBQ is here!! This time, there's 2 BBQs I'm attending. The first one was Tuesday's, which is organised by the Voice Esemble. The next one was the next day, which is organised by Kenny from my SW0602 class. Each individual BBq with a unique experience. Haha... Just want to share with everyone or you can say that I'm actually wanted to post this entry for memorial.

[TUESDAY --> 26 September]
Let's start from Tuesday's BBQ. I woke up quite early, around 10 plus and met Derik, Paul and Kah Hong. Although they are late, I dont mind at all. Since I'm always late for V.E. practises, I rather wait for them than they wait for me. As what Derik always say, 'Being punctual is important...' Something like that... Haha... we went to Parkway Parade to buy the stuff for BBQ. Just like a typical Singaporean, we shopped around 'Giant' to search for the food we wanted to buy. Sausages, marshmallows, Crab meat... all the tasty food that we can find and we think its sufficient for everyone to eat. After all the shopping, we went to the Taxi stand to take a cab to East Coast Park. However, we had used the trolley (the one that needs a dollar to operate...) No choice so I went back to return the trolley.

Now here comes the fun part. It was my first time coming to Parkway Parade so I was lost while returning. I couldnt find the lift that took us down. I was like a lost kid in a big city. When I finally found the lift and put back the trolley. I lost my way again. This time, to find my way to the Taxi stand. When I reached there, I was like explaining to the rest and I told them that I lost my way. Know what? They said they knew it since tehy have joined the queue for the 2nd time, which means we are going to queue again, for the 3rd time. LOL... When we wanted to board the cab, we realised that there's a place to return the trolley without going all the way back to 'Giant', which was just in front of us... I was 'sian' by half... What the... DIAO!!!

When we reached East Coast Park, we realised that we had come too early. All famished and tired. We reached there around 2 plus so Derik and the rest started singing with Derik strumming the guitar. We just dragged and dragged... till it was 5pm and we started the BBQ. In the end, only the 9 of us are there; Derik, Kah Hong, Paul, Ming Zhao, Yi Tian, Alvis, Da Jie, Ben and me... We just BBQ and ate the food. While Derik, Ben and Paul are playing the guitars, Ming Zhao and I were having soccer match. Haha... Though there's only 2 of us, we still can play like kids. All the Manchester United names and their movements are being immitated by us... Haha... By the way, Ming Zhao... Nice game!!!

Later, I was told that Derik wanted to have a 9pm programme, which was to celebrate Ben's birthday, which we had missed. Da Jie, Yi Tian and I went to bought a small cake from 7 Eleven and we started to crack lame jokes while on the way there and back. Now I realised that my jokes can make Da Jie faint. Probably its too cold to be taken. When we went back to the BBQ pit, we started to sing for Ben. In the end, I used the fork to cut the cake as we didnt have a knife. The cakes have a uniqgue shape... all slanting towards one side. That's called 'Professional cutting'. We keep chatting till 10.45pm before leaving. As we walked towards the road to board the Taxi, Kah Hong and I started to play games such as 'Hai Dai' and 'Scissors, Paper, Stone'... The loser will eat the remaining marshmallows in Paul's hand. In the end, I lost quite a few matches and end up having my mouth full of marshmallows. By that time, I was like too afraid of eating marshmallows... Haha...

Alright, thinking that we can go back home and rest, we had encounter a big problem. Ming Zhao couldnt find his wallet after boarding the Taxi. Yeah!!! It was lost at the beginning but was found. Here are the questions that most people will ask.. I will answer them...

Qn1 - Where did the wallet drop to?? (Where's it?)

Ans: Its found at the side of the road. You can say its at the middle of lane 1.

Qn2 - How the hack he do that?

Ans: Probably he opened the door at his side but he found out that its the wrong door. With the wallet in his hands, he dropped it and left the cab. The wallet dropped to the road. That simple...

Qn3 - What's Ming Zhao's reaction?

Ans: He was startled when it was found at the road while rest was laughing and wondering how it landed there. Anyway, Ming Zhao will be careful the next time... hehe...

[Wednesday --> 27 September]
I was late for the BBQ session and I took more than an hour to reach the place. It was a chalet and I was actually gonna stay at there since Day 1 but couldnt. I have CCA in Poly and other activities. When I reached the place, it was around 8 plus. I try to help out once I reached the chalet. Yeah... Helping Bing and Andy to barbeque the food. Haha... After that, more people turn up and they started to play Winning Eleven 10. Food was all around the corner since no one wants to clear it. However, when Huai Xin was responsible for cooking the food, she was like getting people to clear the table. We did what she orders. Haha... Just like a high rank officer getting people to do the necessary things... Kidding... I know that she wants everything to be tidy that's all. Haha... By the way, Huai Xin, if you see this entry, I would like to tell you that your VCDs are with me... hehe... You forgot to bring it back... LOL!!

We keep playing Winning Eleven 10 till 3 plus in the morning. I was too tired to continue and the match betwen Barcelona and W. Breman was so boring that I went up to the 2nd storey and take my nap. Furthermore, I have CCa later at 3pm so a rest is needed. Kenny was at another chalet, chatting with his friends while his wife, Siew Boon, Andy and Raymond were playing mahjong. (I heard that they played till 7 or 8 plus in the morning. Andy was not on a winning streak but he still enjoy the game, yet tired...) The rest (Dennis, Kenneth, Juraimi, Farhan, Fidaus and Daryl were chatting in the room when I entered. From the normal chat to pillow fights. Dennis was being whacked by the rest, just like a pounder whacking a piece of meat, or should I say a few pounders whacking a piece of meat??!! HAHA!!!While for me, I was sleeping yet laughing. They were all joking around that I have a hard time sleeping. The funiest part was when Farhan started to sing 'Unfaithful'. Everyone was laughing, evn I was sleeping began to laugh with my eyes closed.

An hour or so later, another pillow fight started. What's worst, you are sleeping and you are caught in the middle. James was being whacked by the rest and I was just next to him. The part I still dont understand is why is he lying at me. I was being whacked while I'm asleep and I could hear Kenneth shouted, 'Dont whack Wei Teck... He's sleeping...' LOL! Youo guys whacked me and said that??!! Too late but I did use my hand to protect myself while you guys keep whacking so dont worry... hehe... I woke up at 9 plus and everyone was so tired. I bet they didnt have a nice sleep. Exhaustion can be seen in every one's face but the fun was still enjoyed. Haix... Kenny, sorry that I didnt turn up the chalet but still, I do enjoy it... Thanks..

Alright... stopping here. Next week there's a camp for me for 4 days in Poly... This is V.E. Camp... Having camp... Hope so but Ming Zhao and I have some unfinish business to do... hehe... While for Yong Hong, I hope you do come... At least, put your business a side and come for practises... Hope you know what are the piorities that come first other than your attachment... TIRED AR!!!! ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz...... -.-"

Responsibility... That's what I meant...

For the past few weeks, Derik has been telling the VE people, that we should be punctual at times for practises and be responsible for our actions. Why? The answer to that is simple. At the age of 18, we should be more matured and understand what are the rights and wrongs. Once you get older, you are tasting the sweetness and bitterness of this reality. Sometimes, its hard to explain things with your own words and feelings but sometimes, each and everyone must do something in order to make that 'thing' to happen. There's no point waiting for something to appear if you keep waiting... If it does happen, then I would just tell you this straight in your face. "DUDE!!! Wait Long Long la!!!" If still it didnt happen... Hum... Try harder then...

Maybe its my bad attitude these few months that caused it... However, one thing I cant forget is that how irresponsible people can be... For instance, you tell someone that you're coming but in the end, you didnt turn up. It's alright for me but what if I'm the one who is responsible in telling the rest who is turning up or who's not. Think about it again... If you are in my shoes, you will definitely feel piss off. It takes a simple call or 'SMS' to tell me personally your conclusion. It doesnt mean that if you do call or 'SMS' me, you will be dead in the next moment. I dont mind what happens but how about the rest?? They would be thinking where are the you? Are you coming? People do have the time to wait but if it's over the limit, then that's too much.

What's worst??!!! Some even wait for things to happen. Excuses might be the reason for that. I dont mind... Laziness... Probably another reason to that. I still dont mind. However, if you want to make things happen, actions still speak louder than words. I have this feeling that everyone is hinting me to do things for them. Giving people calls??!! Collecting things from others... The worst excuse you can say to me for not helping is, "I dont know the person well... You do it ba..." Nice try... Ms Lee told me that I was the so-called 'Coordinator' but that was the past. However, others might be much better than me. Their ideas are so great that I agreed they are better intellectuals than me. However, you dont expect a lower intellectual to do things for you. Do you need me to give you a shower??!!

Man... Some need to start to be an 18, not on its character but on its thinking. I can be lame all the time and I can be lazy. However, if I tell myself I want to do it, I will still try my best to do it. Even if people call me insane, its my way of living. As we grow older, there's still the word 'teamwork' in every one's mind but there's still this phrase, 'Every man for himself'... Get alive!!!

Save the Best for the Last

There's this phrase if you ever heard it before if I'm not wrong, 'Save the best for the last'. I realised that each time the gang played soccer, the last match would be the longest match. It seems that there would be a huge boost in our determination to win the game, especially the last match. For the past two days, Jack and I have been playing soccer during the night. Normally, we would go to Sembawang to play soccer with the rest but not for this week. Bad weather prevent the game from commencing. Haha...

Anyway, on Saturday morning, we end the game at around 2.40am. We actually stopped the game very soon but the thing is that we started to enjoy the game. We started to play with strangers in a 3 on 3 match and soon, it turn out to be 4 on 4 match with more teams to play. It was absolutely fun. jack did score a few amazing goals and I asked him to score a goal in a zigzag manner... Imagine Jack could do that, he would be the next Singapore footnballer to represent Nike or Adidas. While playing, many incidents occured... Our handphones flying after the ball hit it... The ball went into Woodgrove Secondary... Many did lots of tricks to get pass their opponents... Blah and blah and blah...

As I say, the last match was a good one. We keep winning and I did some 'stupid' trick to the goalie. Back heel kick... Stepovers... What's the best? The passing and positioning of all players are so stable that we are able to score a few good goals. Jack was able to dribble pass 2 to 3 people before slotting the ball into the opponent's net. Haha... Well, I did that once but was a very lucky chance. I was actually trying to get my ballance as I nearly slipped onto the floor. However, I still manage to put the ball into the net, so it doesnt matter. We did have a 'Speed Demon' in our team too... He's fast, quick footsteps, able to organise the team and breaking opponent's defence. That is what Jack always want to do but hard to do so. The gang (Eugene and gang) always stick together and if we spread out, we will be far from the distributor of the ball. That's the problem we have.. We need space and I'm trying to improve on that, thanks to Jack's help... Lol... Not saying his my mentor or what but we do help help each other in some ways to improve our skills, passing and shooting...

About last night's match, its again the fall of the Reds.. The Reds (Liverpool) and Red Devils (Man Utd). The new goalie for Man Utd is good. He has good stuff in him. While for Rio and Wes, they can just stop thinking of playing if they keep doing that. The defence is so bad that even my mother know what to do... Haha... Kidding... Maybe I can do a better job from there... Or should I say, Jia Long could be there to clear the ball from the penalty box more successfully compared to Rio and Wes... My oh my... Man Utd... You guys better do something in order to win a trophy...

After the match, we went to play soccer and many things happened. I whack the ball onto the wrong 'ball'... Jonathan was being 'OLE' over and over again though his hands were still there, trying to grab the ball... Gavin scored a wonder goal against Jonathan... Kian Wee was able to do some tricks and score the goal... Wow... Think about it again, why did we end the game so early. Man!!! It's no life at all... we play less than an hour... Nice one... Haix... Maybe they should consider to come to Woodlands instead of playing in Sembawang.. Yeah... That would be an ideal suggestion to the gang... Haha...

By the way, who's booking the chalet??? What the... Take so long... (That's for December... )

I'm Back!!!

Finally, Nic Thuganomics is BACK!!! Haha... Ok, there isnt any red carpet for my return, not at all. It's been some time since I blogged. A few weeks of break... What can I say?! I feel very empty while I spent my time doing nothing when I actually can blog. If you want to ask me what have I done during the time I should spent on blogging, I would not tell you the answer. This is simply because I dont know the answer at all. It's probably chatting or playing games such as 'Need for Speed 2' and 'Pro Evolution Soccer 5'.

At my last post, I did stated that I would be posting my last entry in the blog. Furthermore, there's also another section, stated 'Announcement' on my blog, which says 'I wont return after I get the answers to solve the issues I'm facing', something like that... Anyway, I'm back to blog all my crap, it shows that I'm back to normal again. Although I'm back, I still didnt find the answer to it. I had asked alot of people about this question. People like Kai, Jeremy, VJ, Ariff, Farhan, Jessica and even my Aunt and Mum... Different people have different views about issues between being famous and earning money. Some said money is what they need, to buy what they want, to exchange for the demands we made. Some said they would not want to have too much money with them, just make sure that they live their life with satisfactory would do. While to be famous, some say its good, to show what capability they have done but some said they wanted to keep life simple; low profile and live to the fullest. To me, I started to make a decision to let people to rule their own life with their own rules. I can only give them advise or support them. I cant stop people from their actions. Yeah... Money can be very IMPORTANT but one thing is for sure, money cant buy the happiness that you really want to have... Even if you are famous, it wont help either to make your life better. The limelight is all over you and what you get in the end might turn from good to sour. Who knows... I'm not a saint...

During my days without blogging, many things happened, whether its big or small. Big things such as joining the audition for Project Superstar and getting screwed in Canberra for entering the hall during 'N' Levels. One's an experience, while the other is a nightmare. One thing is for sure, Canberra teachers are still getting on my nerves, especially the new ones, who act bossy. I really dont the what the hack the principal is doing but I do wish students in Canberra would be happy with their environment. Luckily, my sister is gonna leave the school next year end...

While for small issues, such as massaging at City Spa with Jeremy and his Church friend, as well as having my computer being repaired in school currently and playing soccer late at night makes my day turn whacky. Massaging at City Spa was cool. My Aunt was there to give me the massage and seriously, it was comfortable. Hope there's another time I would be there for such massages. The most funny part was when Jeremy's friend shouted "Uncle! Cramp!!!" when the uncle was massaging his abdomen area. Haha... You will be laughing like a mad person while being massaged by the people. Soccer was another crazy one for me. During the one week holiday for all schools, Jack and I played soccer during the midnight. I still could rememver the days; Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Haha... we keep practising our shooting and our dribbling. Still, there's something wrong with the boots he wear. He keep falling down after stepping on the ball. Maybe the old shoe is much better, more obedient of the owner's orders... Haha...

Holidays means relaxation for most of us but not me... Many things still worries me. The Band is one of them. I just realised that many members are becoming irresponsible of their actions and not doing their duties properly. Giving them a position turns out to be just giving them a chance to show how they could handle the things that are given to them. However, they didnt. I really feel that I have lost the respect for the Band. I gonna say something soon these days. Just wait and see what happens. Haix... Attendance is only 'so-so' and many problems that its facing.... What is this??!!

Voice Esemble would be having their preparations on the concert, which is on November. I forgotten which date but I will try to attend all practises. I'm being pile up with all the scores. Derik says to memorise 20 songs within October. WoW!!! That's really challenging and I gonna take up the challenge. The days for practises is 3 days and this caused me to have difficulty finding a job to kill boredom during the holidays. However, think about it again, I really want to earn extra cash to.. I dont know... Haha... I'm still aiming for the MP3 player that I wanted to have. Haix... Thanks VJ for helping me to check the prices of the MP3s from your friend. Without your help, I will be having problems choosing a right one... Haha...

OH!! CHALET IS AROUND THE CORNER!!! See... I have so many activities and thinking about working?? I think I will need to have a break. Haha... So long now... tired as usual... Some people have been calling me 'Pig' these days... Am I turning into a Pig??? I dont know... Better not... Haha... By the way, I got my results for my Semester in Poly Year 1... All pass... Haha... will put on the details soon... Done for now...
