Again, I'm away from blogging for the past 2 weeks and I'm back to type my summarised reviews on what had happened during the past few weeks. Anyway, I'll try to be short here. Since right now I'm watching Liverpool vs. Toulouse at this hour, I decided to update this blog with a new entry. Haha... I need to store some information in my blog or else I wont be able to recall anything in a few days time due to old age. Alright, here it goes...


Date: 18th August 2007

I had to wake up in the morning as there's a soccer match held in Yishun. I was asked to play for Eugene friend's team, which was Rafie. Anyway, I got to meet Jimmy at Yishun MRT Station, after that meeting Kian Wee, Eugene and Rafie before heading to the pitch. The pitch was quite alright at its sides but quite sandy in the middle.

Anyway, after a change of boots and some warm up, I was asked to play in the left back position, which is one of my weakest positions ever. Reason for that was simple; I'm not a natural left footed and I'm a right footed player. What's worst is that I cant cross the ball well and I'm an attacking minded person. However, since no one can play left back, and with my SINGLE experience in M.I. soccer team, playing in left back position, I decided to give it a try.

They say 'You will never know until you give it a try.' I believe in that but I guess its either you are played in that position as no one can play for it, or you are the best candidate for it. If you cant play for it, it means you must start to learn the basics and work hard to be capable of playing at that position. If you are good, then it means you are at your best and no one can replace you for that position. Well, let's continue instead...

The match started off with the 1st half scoreline, with us losing our opponents by 2-1. Well, I managed to come close with a header but missed it. My bad, at least I tried. While for Eugene, who scored with a long range effort, that makes one goal up for our own Goal Tally for 2007'. With a half-time of a length 45 minutes as other teams are using the pitch, I guess even Alex Ferguson will enjoy that duration of the half-time. I guess all the players could have a break or take a nap before heading into the 2nd half.

2nd hlaf begins with a BANG! Chances were there and we managed to win 4-3 for the game. I did tried to score but failed to do so as my shot was weak. Well, at least I feel that my passing was quite alright in that position but not the crossing, as usual. I guess its time for me to train my left foot and my strength. I gonna go to the gym for a work out, maybe nex week.

After the match, Chris and Jia Long came. They wanted to play basketball but due to some urgent matters, I had to head straight home. After a change of clothes, I went back to Yishun again, this time for a party celebration. It was Ms Tan and Geneviene's birthday party, organised by Ruo Ling. We celebrated their birthdays earlier as others are busy with exams and some with their studies.

Anyway, while waiting for the train to Yishun, I saw her... yeah... her... she was like a door away from me??!! I didnt notice her until I saw Diyana, which was her friend. Well, just a few glimpse at her but I guess I cant say much since strangers is what we are destinied to be. Its a good thing that she notice me but things are still very cold between us. Anyway, I do feel weird when I see her... very weird... I cant explain that but the feeling is totally different. Well, it doesnt matter anymore, let's move on.

I reached the tuition centre to help out and we were all getting ready for the party. Jacinth said I did not change at all. I was thinking... of course, you wont see the change in me since we are in the same Polytechnic and you do see me frequently. LOL!! Well, the plot was to let Ms Tan and Geneviene to enter the centre as the reason for that is that Mr Ong has forgotten to switch off the air conditoner. Sounds like a lame excuse but worthwhile trying. Well, everything work perfectly well but slow. It took about a few minutes for Ms Tan to realised that everyone is hiding in the room until she enters in. Gosh... For me, I was waiting till I'm feeling sleepy. The lights were off and I had a match earlier that makes me even more tired. Haha...

After the surprise, it was time for steamboat. Everyone enjoyed the feast and after the feast, some were singing under the microphone. Cool!! Its been awhile since I get into such events. Anyway, time for the cake cutting and everyone was getting high, singing loudly and lively. I was also the cheeky one but I still try to control myself. Haha... I can go haywire if the partying cotinues. Around 11 plus, Yong Hong and I went back home while the rest went to Safra for a Karaoke session till 2am. Both of us need to start studying our exam so the fun is short-lived. Well, I wanted to study after my shower but guess what, I sat on the sofa, with the fan blowing my hair. 3 minutes later.... K-O-ED!! Gosh... How to start studying??!!


Date: 19th - 24th August 2007

Like it or not, exams is this week. I have not studying much lately. I think I have been too lazy for this semester. I slacked alot, which Kenny had told me about himself doing that too. I guess everyone got fed up with the projects and we just need a week's off to regain our consiousness and get ready for exam fever. Well, at least Sunday night and Monday morning I managed to study with Raymond, Kairul and James for Business Finance. Well, I just give a few things about the respective papers.

Business Finance (Tuesday) - I have difficulties doing the paper and after doing it, I felt that I'm losing the momentem. I screw up the last question and 35 marks were gone. Luckily I did quite well for my project and both ICAs or else I will fail miserably. Nevermind, try harder for the next paper.

Business Law (Wednesday) - HAHA!! That was a simple paper, at least I know how to do it. The last section was a big scare, thanks to our lecturer who said "Bang on Sales of Goods and Trademark. They will come out in the exams." Alright, once you flip to Section C, you first saw the question asking 'What is Copyright?' OMG!!! You cant start doing the paper anymore. Luckily if you read the last 2 question, Sales of Goods is there. Anyway, thtat lecturer is deadmeat this time. For giving the wrong information, he surely get it from us. LOL!! Kidding...

EFMA (Thursday) - Disaster paper that makes me lose my appetite for eating. There are 5 questions in the paper and I know how to do one vut might do wrongly. The rest of the 4 questions, its all done in a mess. I was totally freak out after the paper. I went to meet Kenny and Andy in the North Canteen for a coffee break but as I ate my noodles and they discussing the paper together, swallowing my noodles is so difficult. The answers they give makes you feel so pressurised and in the end, I excused myself and left NYP. What a paper... Killer paper...

Sport & Wellness Management (Friday) - I did manage to study the facts well but guess what, no matter how much you study, it doesnt mean that you know everything. The concepts are there but they played with us with its English and I have a hard time understanding it. In the end, the paper was aBAD one, with many blanks in my mind. I guess Sport and Wellness, our main paper in our diploma, isnt a good paper at all too. Its double the blow, yet the ending of the exam fever.

Well, like it or not, after a week's agony, exam fever is over and holidays are here. However, the pain will be back once we get our results. I dont want to know and I dont wish to know. This is quite irritating. I hope the next class of our batch will enjoy next semester, while we gonna do our TEP. Haha... I just cant wait for it I guess... Happy holidays to all.

Once I end the Sport & Wellness paper, I went to meet Xin Ni to visit her Sister's pub. Yeah! Today isthe official opening of her Sister's pub and I just followed her to give her Sister the support, also to accompany her since she was the only person going. Te Seng just left us behing, with an excuse of 'No money and time'. Great... He was the one who ask me to go and in the end, it turn out to be him who left me alone.

Anyway, once we reached Bugis, we took a bus to our destination. However, we were lost for 20 minutes. Walking in circles around the streets and well, turning to the corner again and again. Well, by then, when we reached the pub, we were too exhausted but nevermind, at least we reach the place. Business hasnt start yet but Xin Ni and I went to help out as they need to purchase some stuff from the nearby 7-Eleven. Well, after doing some errands, we went back to 7-Eleven to eat something light. I didnt have my lunch for the whole day due to the revision of my exam paper. Haha.... Stress I guess...

Business starts at 9pm and yet very little people came in. Xin Ni, my cheeky god-sis, went to choose some songs for me to sing for Karaoke. Gosh! I dont want to sing but in the end, not to upset her, I started to sing. 1st song; Jian Jian Dan Dan; which I'm not good with my high notes. Haha... Slowly and steady, I managed to sing the songs well. Then, this guy who is Xin Ni's sister's friend (Long relationship... LOL!!) invite me for a song and gave me a cup of wine. Now that's a serious problem.

I'm a weak drinker and I dont drink too much except for occasions and I had to drink the whole cup. Haix... Luckily, the guy said he helped me drink 1/2 of the cup and I was glad. Guess what??!! He took a single shot and there it goes, 1/2 cup!!! SO FAST??!!! Haix... I have to drink the wine slowly but end up the gals drinking for me. I felt so bad that night since the gals keep drinking. Now I understand how tough life can be as a person who serves drinks for customers. You need to keep drinking with them, which its not good for health. If its my girlfriend, I guess I would ask her to quit the job and another one or else, I will just take care of her. Seriously, I see the pain of gals working in such lines.

Well, song after song, I slowly enjoy the whole thing but I had to reach home as soon as possible as Mum and Sister hasnt ate dinner at all. I left the pub at 10pm and to keep myself awake after drinking 'too much', I ran to the MRT station. A good feeling which keeps me awake for a moment. Haha... Once I reached Sembawang, I went to buy Macdonalds for them. While buying, I got to see my Sister's classmates so had a short chat with them. I didnt know that they know my habits that well, saying that I took 2 hours to deliver their meals the previous time. Guess after hearing that, I rushed back to make a speedy delivery to my hungry dearies. Haha...


Date: 25th August 2007

They said massage is a good way of relaxation but I got the taste of it. This gonna be my first and will be the last. Mum told me in the morning to go for a massage since I have injuried myself a few weeks back. I thought for a moment... Hmm... it doesnt kill at all since its a massage. Well, I guess I gonna agree with the massager, wrong place!!

When it was my turn to massage, it was quite a painful experience. Actually it turn out to be a medical massage instead. I told him about my leg conditions and he did it to make sure that its alright. Well, I can bear the pain since I treat this injury as a serious one. Its like a fracture on my foot and I guess its hard for me to walk for months. The pain wont fade at all. Anyway, after that, he help me to massage my bruise but it was a wrong choice. He started to whack my legs, which was to circulate the blood. However, I stopped him as I realised that he hit the wrong place. OUCH!!!

One point, I nearly cant bear the pain and I nearly swing my arm on that massager. Haix... Its just too pain and after the whole treatment, I was like 1/2 dead??!! I was thinking how the hack am I going to play soccer at such a condition. Plus I need to work the next day at the Swimming complex. I guess I was very dead that day. That evening, the weather was very bad and soccer was cancelled. Eugene, Kian Wee and I went to Jia Long's house to watch soccer and started to discuss about the chalet plans. Well, I went back home after that to take a rest, since the next day there's work for me. Another boring day in the pool??!! Hope not...


Alright, thats all for the week. I guess I can start new entries for my blog soon since its holidays!! Haha... I have so many things to do even if its holidays, guess no one gets a break even its a holiday. Probably like what Jia Long said I'm over committed but no choice, I need to make both sides happy... Haha... Anyway, I have my ideas for that so no worries.

I'm supposed to be asleep by now but I guess I just cant do it. After today's demoralising exam paper, I guess I have learn my lesson; always read the instructions before doing that paper you are going to seat for. Yeah... I did a freaking terrible mistake in today's exam and it does hurts alot, especially when I'm trying to aim for a 'A' grade for Marketing Management. What a waste...

Well, today it seems that nothing goes right. I'm been sleeping for more than 8 hours today but for the past few nights, with only 6 hours each. I guess I'm getting too tired. Today isnt my day to perform this examination but I have no other choice. Haha. Well, now that I know what are the things I should do first for my next paper.

After the test, I realised that I was doing the wrong way for the paper. Each of my classmates did 6 questions while I did 8 questions, which means all the questions I have attempted. Gosh!! I was just stunned for a moment and walked out of the block. Then, I realised Isa also did the same thing and he still seemed to be happy. Alright, maybe he felt he wasnt alone doing such silly mistake but I was not that good for such celebration. Isa even added a 'High-Five' for being in the same situation with him. First thought is... "Alright... Cool..." Then, the second thought was "What the... Why am I so happy??!! For ***k??!!" Guess I just going crazy for a minute or two. Nothing is right after all...

I have just finished packing my room and I realised that I'm 'addicted' to Green Tea. I dont know why, probably due to peer influence?? All I know is that my room has more Green Tea bottles than other drinks. Hmmm... I will post a picture that I have just snapped soon. I'm too lazy to do that... Haha... Well, thats all for now. Hope tomorrow would be a better day.

While for Saturday, its gonna be a big day... Morning there's a soccer match, 11 vs 11... Afternoon till night there's a steamboat to celebrate Ms Tan and her daughter, Gen.'s birthday. Cool!!! Imagine your Mum and you are having birthdays together... Haha...

Exams are here again... I guess I dont have the time to blog but still, I'll try to update it again. Time is just running out yet I'm slacking. I need people to motivate me but of course not getting cheerleaders to do such jobs. Haha...

Anyway, I really want to apologise about yesterday's incident with Eugene, Kian Wee, Yun Ting, Ivy and Chris. I know I have a bad temper but I just could not control. I guess you guys have not been to this kind of situation before, which I have faced. Anyway, no worries about me. I'm still smiling as usual. Its just that I need some time to rest.

Well, I did mentioned that I wanted to kill him but I didnt. Haha... I tried to chill myself. As what I always say to you all, "Relax..." Yeah!! I must learn that no matter what. Haha...

Guess its time for me to rest! Tomorrow there's another day to continue my long journey for the examinations. Those who are taking exams, GAMBATE!!! Good luck...

I just realised that I didnt update my 3rd of August diary so I just cut that section of my previous post and add it into here. Well, here it goes...


Date: 3rd August 2007

The Voice Ensemble is performing for this Nursing event in Fort Canning Hill and it would be a good exposure for us, since we get to learn how to sing in a relax manner towards the audience, as well as showing others what the Voice Ensemble can do. Well, let's start the journey from NYP first since some isssues were brought up.

When I went into our clubroom, there were only Kah Hong and Cai Yun. The rest were not here yet. Soon, Paul came and he wore the wrong attire. In the end, he went back home to change. However, he was not feeling that good, probably our words were too harsh towards him. I called his phone in the end, apologise to him saying that hope doesnt mind about our tone of talking. Afterwards, the rest gathered together and we went to the Fort Canning Hill for the performance. It's also a good thing to see my Secondary Band mate, Ridwan, to be performing at the same venue too. Cool!!

Well, once we reach Fort Canning Hill, we started our rehersals straight. Once we were done, the gals went to change their attire while the guys went to prepare themsleves. The gals were quite slow but after all, we dont have any choice. Gals need to have make-up while guys doesnt have to do that so we still have to wait patiently. While waiting, something happened unexpectedly.

This guy, who claimed to be a nurse (Come to think of it again, the event is for some nursing committee so EVERYONE is a nurse after all... ZZzz... What am I thinking??!!) came to talk to us. I was startled but we went on with the conversation. He said he was from Philipines and has 5 children. Blah and blah and blah till he told us one part that just make us stunt. He said he was in Clark Quay and met a gal and got the chance to ***k the gal but it turn out that the gal is a Philipino and not a Sinagporean. Alright, he won the battle! The 4 of us (guys) were all looking at that nurse, speechless. Once that guy excused himself, we were asking each other "Did he say the 'F' word??" "Did he say...." You know, there isnt much I can explain here, you know what I mean...

Well, the gals were ready and we were in the waiting room, waiting for our turn for the performance. While waiting, we began to warm ourselves up as well as singing some old songs that we had sang before. It was fun and interesting, testing us how good our memory is. The performance began shortly and we sang quite well. Ben told me that I must be more relax since I was not swaying with him while singing "Lion Sleeps Tonight". Alright, my bad, I have stage frights so often that I would stay rooted to the spot unless I take out my lenses or spectacles and I have no clear view of the audience. Haha...

Once the performance is over, everyone went to Plaza Singapura to have a drink. We ended up gossiping about Paul's past, exposing all his secrets. Well, we have nothing to do at all so the gals recommend us to expose some of our secrets. It was targeted on someone but I suddenly mentioned Paul's name that make him to be the main topic of the night. Poor Paul, my bad for saying out your name but everyone's curious about you so... take that as a perfect way of interacting with us. Haha....

Once we're done, we went back home, with the best memories as well as pictures... Cool!!! Committee outing... That's our 1st and always be remembered.

Manchester United had won the Charity Shield against Chelsea. Alright, it was all pure luck since they won in penalties but still, we won!! Haha... I could say that Manchester United is my favourite club that's why I would support them no matter what but on that day itself, they did not field the new signings that they have during the summer. Weird Alex Ferguson... Although I know he wish to win the game but people wants to look how talented are the people that he had signed. Gosh!! Hope there would be more chances of seeing Hargreaves, Anderson and Nani playing in the future games in the English Premier League (EPL).

Hate it or not but I would totally agree that Chelsea has bought the right person, Malouda. The way he score his goal in the game was perfect. I could say that this is the right way a striker should do, to pound on opportunities and go for it, not to waste the shots like what a normal striker would do, or I can refer to myself, who lost the ball so often during games. Haha... Well, this season's EPL would be a nice one. Liverpool has Fernando Torres; Arsenal has Silva; Chelsea has Malouda and Manchester United has Tevez in the future??!! Yeah, Tevez is coming to Manchester United but still, I hope he put his best into his scoring boots. Haha... Thats all for now... Manchester United!!! Good luck for the new EPL season!!! Date: 9th August 2007

The whole story will start from 8th August first. I managed to sleep at 2 plus in the morning but woke up at 5.30am as I went back to Canberra Secondary to help out if possible. Anyway, I also need get up early as I promised Doris that I would give her a morning call so as to allow her to finish the assignment she needs to do. She wasnt feeling that well so I guess, she needs plenty of rest rather than keeping herself busy.

Well, the Band were ready for the performance and they did it smartly. Although there isnt any throwing of the maize, it was still good. Looking at their batch, I realised that I missed the times we had fun with my section in Band. Haha... Ariff, Fazil, Clarence, Kuhzaimah... Time flies that fast. Haha... In the end, I needed to rush back to NYP for lessons. I was late but who cares. It was the last week of lesson and I dont mind at all. Once school's over, I went back home and get ready for that night's activity; staying over at Chris's house.

I was in-charge for dinner that night but right from the start, I was having difficulty cutting the chicken. Luckily there's Eugene there to help me or else I would really take 3 hours to complete the dish. Haha... While Eugene had a difficult time cutting the chicken, I did the simpler stuff, cutting the sasuages into cubes and many more. Eugene was cooking the tomato sauce of our dish, macaroni, while I handled the job to cook the cheese sauce. Chris's Mum was there to assist us at all times. I feel so greatful that she's her or else, the whole kitchen would be a mess.

Once the cooking was done, it was already 9.30pm. Gosh!! It was so LATE!! Well, everyone had dinner together and the macaroni, with the ingredients and the 2 types of sauces added together.. everything tasted very well!!! With the left part of the plate covered with tomato sauce while the right covers the cheese sauce... Thinking about that matter makes me feel hungry now... Haha...

Once dinner was over, we went to watch the movie "Rush Hour 3". A nice movie that I really enjoyed. Laughters could be heard all over the cinema so I guess its gonna be a top movie in the box office for this week. Haha... Once the movie was over, we went back to Chris's house. I wanted to do my homework and I managed to did some but ended up falling asleep. I was very awake but I realised that my eyes were red. I cant do it anymore or else I would be having stressed eyes. I remembered someone told me that your veins of your eyes would explode so I went to sleep in the end.

My eyes were important and I felt better after 2 hours of rest. I went back home with the rest, with Eugene and gang taking the cab while I followed Jack to board the train. Haha... Once I reached home, I just knock out gradually. That night, no one met out to watch the amazing fireworks. Everyone must be too exhausted but I guess they do enjoy themselves. This is what Eugene said before... our 1st gathering after a few months. Yeah... We seemed like falling apart but after that night, I guess our hearts are still as one, our friendship is still burning. The flame will never be out... That's our friendship, for life...

Finally, CCC has started to play with us, at least a game??!! This is the most astonishing request from CCC that day when they asked us to join them for a game. Wow!! What an offer. While we are getting ready, I heard one of them said that we are quite good. Haha... Local talents are mend to be good. We need to show the whole world that Singapore might be a small country, its population shows the determination that no other country could give when it comes to sports. Although we do lost at times, we are still proud of what we had put in.

Anyway, I stop the crap for now. The match started and Jimmy scored the 1st goal, with a great header, thanks to Andy's assist. Too bad, Raymond could not join us as he wants to study. Haha... Well, I scored the 2nd goal by pushing the ball to my side and whack it hard with my right foot. It went between the legs of the goalie and it was great. I sudenly ran like a mad guy, who has just won a lottery (I dont bet but the feeling was something like that...) Haha... Jimmy scored the 3rd goal again, his 2nd, after a great passing between he and Anan. However, we conceded by a goal, which I can say it was my mistake for not clearing the ball.

Well, we won the game by 3-1 and it was a good experience. Haha... Although I didnt manage to score any goals later that but I still enjoy myself. Haha... Although my legs are hurting but I still continue to play. Thats my life, my rules!!!

Let me go straight to the point for this post on the relevant dates that shall be remembered. I have not much time to waste but really want to post some stuff here. Anyway, here it goes.

As 12am strikes, messages started to flood my handphone. I know it is my birthday but I felt so reluctant to celebrate it. I dont know why but I guess its because I feel moody for the past few days regarding on many issues; studies, projects and many more. Things seems to be more complicated. However, I really appreciate those who had sent me their SMSes for wishing me. Thanks alot to you people, making my day to be better.

How am I gonna start it? Well, let's start from the SMSes first. The first SMS was from my dear friend, Cherrie. I was really shock when I saw the message is because of her sincerity. Imagine a friend sending an SMS from Australia just to wish you 'Happy Birthday', isnt that amazing and touching. It's very rare to have such wonderful friends around. Anyway, back to the story, Eugene send me his greetings, as well as Cindy. The following morning around 7 plus, more SMSes flooded in and I was disturbed from my sleep. Haha... I dont mind but as usual, I was really feeling relectant to celebrate.

I went to school for lessons till 7pm and I was late meeting the gang for dinner. I was stuck with my Business Law project and it really make me go crazy, as I need to redo my stuff for the report. I met the gang; Chris, Eugene, Yun Ting, Jimmy, Kian Wee and Ivy; at yishun Golden Village and we had dinner at Long John Silver. I supposed they know that I wont want them to buy any gifts but they still do it. Although it was a T-shirt and shoes, I was still happy enough for their effort to buy them. Haha... That wasnt the end of the whole celebration.

Thanks to Yun Ting's distraction, they brought out a cake from nowhere and started to sing "Happy Birthday" out loud at the fastfood restuarant. I was startled but felt embarassed. Well, I still enojoy my day spending that dinner with them. After the meal, we went to walk around the reservior at Yishun and Kian Wee and I sent Chris back home. Although time was limited but I thank everyone for the wishes they give.

Hmmm... Let me just list the number of people I really want to thank again. Chris, Yun Ting, Ivy, Eugene, Jack Long, Jia Long, Gavin, Raymond, Jimmy, Cherrie, Doris, Xin Lin, Cindy, Cynthia, Rachel, Yi Tian, Pauline, Yong Hong and many more that I could not remember... Thanks for the wishes. May you people smile all day, as that's part of my wish, which is to make sure everyone will be happy at all times. Anyway, for Cindy, I will make sure that what I say is what I mean... Sometimes, its a must to let bygones be bygones... so no worries about me as I'm smiling like I'm before. :D

I didnt expect V.J. to throw a party after my birthday was over, which is like nearly a week ago?! He only realised that my birthday was over when I met him for gym on Saturday. As usual, he wont get to know this piece of information as I keep my bithdate low profile. Secondly, to me, I still think everyday is a normal day. There isnt any necessary for people to celebrate my birthday as I wont get day off for such occasion in schools. If there is, WOW!!! That would be the best gift I will have on that day; to skip all lessons and let me have enough sleep, probably 10 hours or more??!!

Well, I was busy doing my stuff in my SBM free-access lab when V.J. called and asked if I'm free later. I was supposing to teach Henry but I didnt have the time, since I promised V.J. to have dinner with the gang. Anyway, things start to go haywire when Charissa called me and complained about certain things regarding the dinner. I expected what she's gonna say but I dont know why I feel that hurt. Maybe I just dont want people to feel that its my 'birthday celebration' that spoils the mood of someone else. Well, things were settled after an hour but I felt the sharp pain in my brain after listening to Charissa's words. I guess I was too stress up with my report that my brain go bonkers and wild stuff starts to hit my mind.

Anyway, dinner was at Swensons. We waited till everyone was there and we started to order our food. I was stunned to see V.J. giving me my birthday gift, which was a MP3 player; Zen Stone Plus. COOL!!! I really need to thank him for giving such an expensive present. Actually, the celebration in Swensons is enough but I didnt expect him to buy a MP3 player for me. Things went to a higher level when they bought an ice-cream cake for me. Gosh! By then, I was thinking how much would there be spending for my birthday celebration. I managed to fool the staff of Swensons that Jeremy was me and it worked. Haha... Poor lady who put the cake on the table, in front of Jeremy, that shock the wits out of him.

Anyway, Charissa went back and the rest were having ice-cream. Haha... It was a fun outing but too bad, we need to go back early as the next day is a long day for everyone. We have schooling and other stuff so the celebration was cut short. Well, before I end this short entry for that day, thanks again to Vincent, Yao Xing, V.J., Jeremy, Valerie, Charissa, Reeza and Yao Xing's friend... Thanks for being there on that 'celebration' that was supposing for me. I really have no words to describe my feeling but gratitude is all I have. Thanks alot...

It's Mum's birthday!! My Sister and I didnt prepare any presents for her, which I dont think its necessary. My Mum will definitely nag at me if I spend money on stuff that are not useful. Since both of my Sister and I could not decide what is the perfect gift, we decide to cook a meal for Mum. That would be a better way since it wont be too difficult at all.

In the end, my Sister went to buy the ingredients and I told her we gonna cook some black pepper spaghetti for Mum. Anyway, things was more complicated after that. Its been a long time since I touch the wok and cook. The last time I could vividly remembered was 2 years ago, when I was preparing for my O Levels F&N examination. Well, that wasnt the big concern that I was having in my mind. The biggest problem is I dont know how to cook black pepper spaghetti. The dish that we are cooking is known as "Anyhow Cook", which we just add in the ingredients and cook. we just hope Mum would not have a tummyache after eating thats all. Haha...

I was in-charge of cutting the sasuages and mushrooms while my Sister do the cleaning of the squids and prawns. Once we are done, we started to cook. First, cook the sausages and mushrooms and later, add in the prawns and squids. After that, add in some water to make the sauce for the dish and lastly the black pepper sauce. Everything was quite fine but ended up weird. We did a wrong procedure, which is to add some corn flour into the sauce to make sure it thickens. Instead of adding it in a small cup of water first, I just pour the flour into the sauce. Wrong step! I guess I was not doing that well on that. That wasnt the end. I supposed we want to have the 'black pepper taste' so we add in many drops of pepper into the sauce, after having 1/2 bottle of black pepper sauce in the mixture.

Dinner was served and guess what, it has the 'black pepper taste'. It ended up with my Mum saying that we had made the wrong move of adding the flour into the sauce rather than first on a cup of water before adding it into the mixture. While my aunt and uncle, who were there, there were sniffing while eating. i guess it was too 'pepperish' for them. Anyway, not only them, I was sniffing too. Maybe I need to brush up my skills for cooking. Haha...

After dinner, I went to meet the gang for soccer. I told myself to score goals for my Mum that day and I did. 2 goals against our opponents. One of the goals is when I stopped the ball at the line and dragged it back and push it towards the goal. Cool!! Overall, I scored on that day, with a hat-trick against our own mates. Although I didnt score a hat-trick in the 1st match, it is enough after I conclude the game with 5 goals on that day. Scoring the crucial goal against Szaywan's team when we were both in the scoreline of 2-2, a mid volley saw the game ended, just in time when the lights went out. That's for you, Mum... Happy birthday...

That night, or should I say the wee hours of the next day, I cycled to Sun Plaza at 4 plus to meet Eugene and gang, who were staying over at Macdonalds to study. I took my Uncle's bicyle and cycle over (I didnt ask his permission anyway...) but I end up cycling back home, totally wet. I started to pour around 5.15am and at that time, Eugene and I were having breakfast; instant noodles. Haix... I cycled back all drenched but I feel very good. Its been quite some time since I got drenched under such a heavy downpour and the morning was feezing.

Anyway, I went to sleep after my shower but guess what, no one in the family knows what I have done at that hour. While for my uncle, I guess he knows what has happened, I assumed. He complained that something was wrong with his bicycle as it was wet, which seems impossible as his bicycle was not parked near his kitchen window when the downpour begins. Hmm.. He think there's a ghost in his home??? I guess I know how to answer that question; that ghost was me!! Haha... yet, he still dont know about it....

Andy and Eric joined us for soccer today, which was quite a good thing. We have been lacking of players to play soccer since the gang starts to have their work and studies. Just simply a year after our Secondary school life and everything has changed. Is it a good thing or a bad thing, I dont know but that day, I just wish both Andy and Eric would enjoy the play.

I know Eric wont like it as he prefers to play with more people. He thinks that with more people around, it would be fun. That was the thing that worries me. While for Andy, I told him to join me since he feels like kicking a ball, which he hasnt for the past few months. Still, I was worried that both of them wont like the mini-play but the good point is both of them are Liverpool supporters and I wish they could just mingle around, know more friends and enjoy the game... Gosh! Being a friend of 2 different sides could be so tough...

Anyway, I managed to score some great goals, thanks to Andy's help. He was there at the right moment while I mis-kicked the ball a few times. Anyway, I was doing too much tricks at one moment, as I was using the Cyruff kick frequently, which is to cut the ball when your opponents are in front of you. I guess I was totally worn out when the clock strikes at 9 plus. The last game I had was a 5 goal scoreline but we lost by a goal, as the score was 5-4. Well, it wasnt that bad but I think I need to rest well. Wednesday would be the race in NYP and I need to run to warm-up my feet. Andy was feeling much better as he didnt have sports for the past few months and was enjoying it... Phew...

Well, at least everyone went back home happily.... While for me, I had work the next day. I end up dozing off very easily while working at the swimming pool as it was a morning shift... Haha... I was too tired I guess but still, I must learn to be alert at all times. Hmmm... Responsibilities play a big part when you are a lifeguard. ZZzz....


Date: 1st August 2007

The race is here and I just feel the tension of participating the Campus Road Run in NYP. Yeah... Its a run that guys would complete 4km while gals would challenge the 2.4km run. While for me, I was participating the Team run, which consist of Zulfadli, Kenny, Andy and me. I was not feeling that good as I had a tummyache earlier before the race. Imagine competing with around more than 100 guys, its amazing if you are 1st or 2nd in the race, which to me its impossible.

The race starts after the Director sounded the horn but it was not a good sign for Zul. He wanted to go to the loo to relieve himself but failed to do so. Well, he was running very fast, with Andy just next to him. While for Kenny, he was way behind. After running one round of the stadium, we went to run around the campus. By then, I was loosing my energy as I'm not runner with slow twitch muscles. Soon, Kenny caught up with me and went passed me, whereas for Andy, he was behind me after that.

I managed to run the entire race within 20 minutes. I'm not sure of my timing but it is estimated to be at 20 minutes, which is a good sign, I guess as it is my first competitive run in NYP. What's best is that I was in the 44th position. I was happy with my achievement but still, I guess I could do better. Zul ended up being 3rd in the race while Kenny was 15th. Andy, who was not feeling that well that day finished at 57th.

As the lucky draw and race prizes were announced, everyone was feeling bored. It ended up Zul going to his club's training while Andy and Kenny went for a swim. I need to go back to my Clubroom to get my stuff for a shower but while I was walking, I heard Kenny's name, as well as Andy and Zul. I was just next to the swimming pool so I shout across to them to tell them what I had heard. Haha... Andy soon went up with me to collect our medals; a bronze for team run. Cool!! First run as a team and we had such an achievement. All thanks to Kenny and Zul for their efforts to be the top 20 runners. While for Andy, he did his part. Haha...

I went to the pool the join the rest. I took off my shirt and went into the water. It was quite cooling and I need that kind of water to relax my muscles. Haha... Anyway, thanks to the guys, I managed to complete my first ever 4km run in my entire life as a student. It was also an important thing for me as I will be organising such marathons as I would be having my TEP attachment in the school gym. Now I get a rough idea of how they manage their events... I guess our class could improve it??? I hope so...

Before I end this part, I also want to thank someone who I did not know. Thanks to this gal (I dont know her CCA), who told me to run all the way since I was just 200 metres before completing the race. I dont know you but your words of encouragement did inspired me. Thanks alot... May you enjoy the future runs in NYP as well as other successes in future competitions.... :D
