The Fun & Laughter - Last Week of Holidays!

Although it sounds contradicting of me typing something happy and sad in 2 posts entries a day, I just want to spend some time to summarize what had happened on the week of my holidays, especially the last week of my holidays. Let’s start from Wednesday, when it was a brand new day after a night’s rest after the camp. =]

I woke up around 12 plus and went to wash up. Auntie Emily was at my house too since she stayed over for a night. We had lunch at around 1 plus at the nearby 888 Plaza for some Laksa. My sister was saying that she was hungry and suggested to have lunch together. She told me she wanted to eat something plain, which gave me the first impression of eating porridge or something else that is good for someone who’s not feeling well. In the end, she told me she wanted to eat Laksa, which is considered ‘plain’ to her. = S What rubbish was she talking??!!

Han Xiong (my sister’s friend), Auntie Emily, my sister and I went to have our lunch together and we had pancake after that. I was hungry but still, it was a nice meal. Auntie Emily continued to stay at my house until 5 plus in the evening before she went home while I head for Kenneth’s birthday party at Pasir Ris. Meeting Andy at Yishun first, we ended up reaching the chalet around 8 plus after having our dinner together.

Actually, there was nothing much I felt like doing. It was a big house with a pool behind the balcony area and lots of food. I had some spaghetti that was prepared by Charmain and I really liked it a lot. Haha… While some of them went to dip themselves in the pool, Siew Boon, Raymond, Andy, Huai Xin and I were playing Mahjong. I was not totally playing but helped Huai Xin to be her loyal adviser in playing the game, making decisions for her to see which step she should take in order to win.

In the end, she won $8 and for me, I earned nothing. Haha… It’s alright for me as I seldom gamble. =] I wanted to go back home early but Andy asked me to wait, which ended up we taking a cab home. I was tired that night but I will always remember that Zulfadli was the star for the night, with nothing to wear, he was running around the whole house with his hands covering his… Alright, shall not describe on that but it was a fun chalet. Well, happy birthday to Kenneth for that day.

The next day was project!! I met Andy at 9am and we were rushing our reports, which was late for submission to Kenny. For the entire afternoon, I was feeling tired and sleepy. I don’t have the mood to do my reports, especially when my music is not played in my ears. It’s weird when I could not do my work with no entertainment to keep my momentum from moving. At the end of the day, I went back home and ‘K-O’! I was sleeping on the sofa for the next few hours before I went to shower and had dinner for the night.

Friday’s soccer was quite fun. Although I was late, I still manage to play part of the game. The team was able to win all matches until the last 3 minutes when we let loose our defense and let our opponents to score against us. I was doing well with my defending but still, I was tired at the end, considering after doing a lot of exercises during the camp and had inadequate rest for the past few days. No goals from me but I did well, I guess. I was happy with my play and as simple as that, it was a good warm-up for me.

Saturday was swimming training and I met up with Cai Yun and Ping Ding to swim at Yishun Swimming Complex. I was having training after that so I guess I did trouble them to take the effort to come over to Yishun just for a swim. Cai Yun and Ping Ding were learning freestyle Ping Ding learnt quite fast. I did not teach anything proper that day but I guess the best person who learns the most was Cai Yun. She does not know how to swim and slowly, bit by bit, she managed to take the strokes at its simplest way, and started to swim the correct manner for the stroke. Well done, Cai Yun!! =]

I went to Jonathan’s house that night as it was James’s birthday. That night, while the rest was playing Mahjong till the early morning, I was watching Euro 2008. Netherlands against Russia was a nice match, with Russia having more shots than Netherlands. In the end, Netherlands lost and Eugene, Jack, Jia Long and I were thinking what was wrong with the team, who played total football and were not themselves that night. Gosh! What a stupid match…

At least, Eugene and I sober ourselves with that boring match by playing Pro Evolution 08 after the match. I won the 3 matches out of 3. The first game was not counted as Eugene chose the wrong team. The second game was alright but I won him by 2 goals due to his low morale players who could not play well. The last match was the better one, with an extra time played and the score line was 2-2, we head to penalties and I won it, by the slightest margin. =]

It was a fun night, not only to celebrate James’s birthday but also a belated celebration for Raymond’s birthday. Last but not least, for Eugene, who is going to attend National Service soon. The holidays ended so fast and projects are tumbling up. Work hard for now… I guess…

Holidays End & It's Gonna Be A Busy Week...

I'm now in the my school's library and what am I doing at this hour? Blogging. Yes, simple as that. Actually, I do have lessons from 2.15pm till 6pm but I have decided to drop the module. Calculus is the name and I guess, I’m not prepared to take up such a module. The reason behind my actions for dropping the module is because I could not cope with the amount of work that I’ll be facing, probably now and also, in the future.

I know it sounds like I’m creating excuses for myself but results shown everything for this week. I did quite badly in most results and I think I must not spend too much time on Calculus, and neglate the rest of my modules. Gosh… It’s a hard decision that I’ve made but I guess, everyone needs to make decisions in life, that might affect them in both ways.

Well, let me just give a brief summary of the results that I’ve got back this week in school. Before I start, I will state the test dates and you can see for yourself how bad it is.

NSA (Tuesday) >>> 36 / 50 – PASS!

Coaching (Wednesday) >>> 21 / 50 – FAIL!

Entreprenuership (Wednesday) >>> 18.5 / 25 – PASS!

Quality Management (Wednesday) >>> 20.5 / 30 – PASS!

As you can see from the results, it shows that how bad it is compared to Tuesday and Wednesday. I do agree that Wednesday was not my day either too for that day. I was ill and I had to go through all the tests. Plus, I was having a bad headache the night before, so it was a difficult position for me when it comes to playing a game of concentration.

Anyway, I just had my Customer Relationship Management ICA2 today and it was quite alright. I’m having negative thoughts about the results but I think I still can pass but not getting a high mark for that. It was about handling an angry customer through the phone and seriously, my tutor; Ms Chua; is fierce enough to scare the wits out of me. The last time I heard such a tone of voice in that manner was 3 years ago, by Ms Lee. =X

Anyway, I had a hard time to interupt her conversation and I realised that my weakness is through the phone. I don’t like complaints from others as I find it irritating. The worst part was when Ms Chua was yelling, saying her unhappiness with the product and my poor service, that makes me feel angry. Complaints tend to piss us off but as a service provider, one must be firm and be ready for such things. For me, I was holding my pen tightly and the urge of breaking my pen into two pieces is how I’m feeling at that moment.

Gosh! I can be a good service provider in the workplace but not in phone call. Phone-shy… I guess so… =/ More projects to be done this week... Haix... Life of a Polytechnic student is harsh sometimes..

V.E. Bonding Camp!!

It has been some time since I posted! Well, there was V.E. Bonding Camp on Monday and Tuesday, which I really enjoy myself very much. The day before the camp, I was packing my stuff, getting ready to give my 100% energy to this camp. Although it was just a short 2 days 1 night, I was sure that it will be fun after all.

Day one of the camp, I came together with Auntie Emily to school and guess what, it was a good sight, with quite a number of juniors turning up for the camp. Compared to last year, results seemed to be much better. =] After a briefing from Shuai Xun and Shi Pei; the I/Cs for the camp; it was time to put our stuff in our bunks before we start the activities for the day.

I was with Ling Long, Ling Ling, Vanessa, Paul, Shuai Xun, Suee and Sheryl together, which our group was named as ‘AHJA’. There is an inner meaning of the entire group name, quite political. LOL! Well, you can ask us for the actual meaning of the group name! Anyway, here’s our cheer that we had come out with for ‘AHJA’. It sounds weird but it’s very interesting actually. It goes like this:

We ‘AHJA’ here!
We ‘AHJA’ there!
We ‘AHJA’ ‘AHJA’ everywhere!
… 5, 6, 7, 8…
We ‘AHJA’!
You ‘AHJA’!
They ‘AHJA’!
JA JA ‘AHJA’!

After all the preparations of our team names and cheers, it was time for games! TOne of the best games that I had played was the sweet eating competition. Actually, it is not easy to play that sweet eating competition, where the sweet will be attached to two mouths and the first who ate the sweet, up to its mid-line, will then be the winner. The first problem is how to eat the sweet fast. The second thing was whether the two persons will get to kiss each other while eating the sweet. Alright, I didn't got kiss, neither do I kiss anyone. However, Jia Bao gives her first kiss by accident while playing the game with.... PAUL!!! Haha... Someone also accidentally kissed another person, on the upper lip I guess... Oops!! =X

The next best game for the day was the island (I can only think of the initial name of this game...), which means that 3 people will be holding hands together and when a player gets into the 3 people, one must leave, to escape from the catcher, who's chasing for their victims. Well, I managed to run fast enough. Like many other guys, we ran and fool our catcher many times. Poor Jia Bao, who's again stated in my entry, had to chase around for 5 minutes with no way getting a tag on the rest. Anyway, Kah Hong helped her in the end and tagged Paul! Haha... Paul! Its you again... =X

Then, there was the water bombing game! We were given 10 minutes to fill everything up and guess what, Paul and I went to the guys toilet at the nursing level to fill our water bombs. Haha... The game started with a dog and bone water game and I was bombed a few times. By then, the game ended and some were totally wet. Since there's nothing much to do, everyone started to throw water bombs at each other. Shot of the day goes to Paul, who throw a water bomb at Ben, with a direct shot to his fatherhood area. Cuckoo!!! Now there's goes the birdy. Kidding.. but seriously, it's Paul again and this time, I have to admit that he has a good sense of aiming. =]

Night was a movie session, which we supposed to watch a French choir movie, which went haywire. The video was having some errors hence we changed the movie to a Thai horror movie, which did scare the wits out of the gals. While for me, it was only the wrist cutting scenes that make me feel uneasy, other than that, it was alright. Auntie Emily was sitting next to me and she was terrified when the ghost appeared. Gosh! Someone would shout 'Mama...' when she's scared... Haha... Auntie Emily don't watch horror movies but seriously, she looks cute when she's frightened. I don't know why...

Then, there were games planned for us. First was the C.S.I. game which I have no idea what is wrong with my brain. I have a hard time thinking who was the murderer. Eric looks gay enough to be a yoga instructor but the best part was Winnie, my 'Nu Er', who acted as a medium. Gosh! Her acting skills is still the best I guess. In the end, Eric was the murderer while the rest were not. Unclear explainations but still it was fun. The next game was about kissing someone. I ended up kissing Ping Ding, my so-called 'Mother' Haix... Alright, it was weird to kiss another gal but it is still interesting for the committee to come out with such games. They do dare to do that after all.

Once everything was over, it was time to resting but Auntie Emily and I were watching '明中注定我爱你' until it was 2am. We went to walk around the stadium before we went back to sleep at E308. By the time I was asleep, it was 3.30am in the morning. I woke up to hear some talking from Shi Pei and Sheryl, thinking that it was 6 plus, I woke up and looked at the clock. Gosh! 4.30am! I slept only an hour... -.-" I went back to my sleep until 6 plus when Auntie Emily woke me up to get me ready for exercising early the morning.

It was basketball time after a short run around the stadium. There were a few juniors and also, of course, the seniors. I scored quite a number of shots and most of them are all lucky shots. I know myself that my lay-ups are not good but what matters most is that everyone enjoys the game. =] P.T. was after that when day two officially starts, with me giving the rest the warm-ups and runs. Cool!! I guess I'm the only person who knows more about these stuff since I'm under Sport and Wellness. LOL!!

The adventure race starts next where we went around the Ang Mo Kio area to look for clues. My team was mislead and many times, we felt disappointed. However, we learnt the way of maintaining team spirit with the juniors, working togther as a team. At least I did enjoy my Para Para Dance at the arcade, which was one of the obstacles we need to do. Haha!! Top scorer was a good way to motivate myself to strive harder for the race. We got 3rd at the end but overall, we did enjoy it! (Btw, Pauline was later in our group!! Haha!! The weather did not rain at all during her time off from work! Which is a good sign after all.]

Once the camp was over, the rest went to watch the movie, 'The Incredible Hulk'. We supposed to watch 'Sex in the City' but due to the late entry, we did not watch that movie. There were Kah Hong, Cai Yun, Paul, Ping Ding, Pauline, Winnie, Benjamin, Auntie Emily, Xiu Hui, Yi Tian and me. The show was very entertaining and I will give 2 thumbs up for this action pack movie. =] The movie ends after that and we head for dinner. Auntie Emily and I shared a bowl of fish head soup since we were full after eating nachos during the show.

Auntie Emily came over to stay at my house as her Mum did not know the camp ended earlier by a day. Since that's the case, she came over and slept at my room, whereas I slept in my parents room. The funny part was that my Dad did not know she was in my house for the entire night until the next day afternoon. However, I still think he does not know that Auntie Emily was sleeping in my room that night. LOL! Anyway, thanks for staying over. I hope you have a good rest that night, with my comfortable pillow (her favouite) and warm blanket to accompany you the entire night. Thanks for accompanying me. =]

Alright, thats all for now. Its time to rest now. =]

在恋爱中,最令人怀念的是每一天的早晨能见到你心爱的人。
不管是她可爱的样子,还是她甜蜜入睡的样子,
最令我幸福的是能陪你一辈子的早晨,
给我一辈子的笑容。

A Question...

Cai Yun was asking Kah Hong and me about this question, which I guess many had thought of before.

"If you have a choice, who would you like to be? A man or a woman?"

For Kah Hong, he rather be himself, which is a man. He likes what he is now. =]

While for Cai Yun, she wants to be a man if possible as she thinks that a man will be better, compare to a woman. =]

For me, I gave them a different answer. I said that I dont want to be a human. Not a man or a woman. Kah Hong thought that I would rather be gay at the first place but actually, my idea was not that even if I was. =P

The reason for me to think of not being a human is because, I realised that this week, I faced alot of things that makes me feel that life is fragile, life is short. Compare to animals, humans suffered the most. Why is this so? Let me explain from what I thought of.

Compared to animals, we are really the ones who suffered alot. Although we are humans, with better brains, better ability to do things compared to animals. We work, they dont. We need money, they dont. The only common things that we have is eat, sleep, breathe, drink, shit. Thats all.

While for humans, the worst part of life is we have feelings. Feelings that make us go weak at times in life. We not only cried or grief for our love ones. We also do that to animals too, or probably to the stuff around us. For instance, Cai Yun griefs when her pet hamster passed away. I will get angry when I lose my stuff. Kah Hong will be happy when he has a good day with his family. Many many more... However, compare to animals, they only grief their love ones and not to a plant, a human being or even, god. They are considered the best, especially when their minds are simple.

An animal, I'm refering to the wildlife, only thinks of their survival. They will lose their love ones and some, even do not have any love ones, due to their natural habitat and system of living. They only cry probably to those animals that they know and not like crying for a dead human being. Whereas for humans, we cry for all sorts of things. Yes! Being a man is hard, being a woman is also hard. That is why I rather be a non-human, probably a plant will be the best. Worst come to worst, a human came over to me and cut my branches and weeds out and I just die slowly and instantly. The pain will be short but no one cries for me and I will not cry for anyone who leaves...

Life is fragile. I agree with that saying. I faced the news of a friend losing his relative on Tuesday, I then saw a neighbour's coffin lying at the void deck of my block on Wednesday. Finally, I saw the soon-to-be a birth of a new life, yet still creating, that will soon to begin on Friday. What is the real meaning of life? Some say I often thought too much and I agree but sometimes, it really makes me feel sad when losing my close ones. Friends, family members, relatives... and most of all, the person I really love.

Cherish life for now! Yet, I guess if things dont move the right way and when its time to end, I will just let go of it I guess. Life... What is life... Love... What is love... I dont want to know more...

Now that's my answer to her question... =]

I.T. Fair 08... Wedding...

It's time for some blog posting again. I just came back home from the I.T. Fair at Suntec City. There was Benjamin, Winnie, Cai Yun, Kah Hong and me. Although it was a short trip to the town area to look for the best bargains that you can find for IT stuff, I still manage to buy something back home. =]

Cai Yun was looking for a digitial camera whereas Kah Hong was scouting for new laptop deals, which his previous laptop looks dead enough after using it for 3 years. While for me, I was hunting for the best bargains for external harddisk. Although we shopped the 2 levels out of the 3 for more than an hour, Cai Yun still got to buy her desired digitial camera while i got a Maxtor external harddisk, consisting of 160GB, costing $109. I know there's a $90 harddisk on sale but I rather get the one with the warrantly that is useful in the future. =]

After all the shopping, it was time for dinner. Everyone was starving but we ended up having dinner at B.K. (Burger King) instead of the other 2 choices that we had thought of; F.J. (Food Junction) and C.J. (Carl's Junior). Winnie looks cute when she smiles, especially when her food is still in her mouth, which made her looked like a hamster. =X Oops, I'm dead! LOL!

Yesterday, there was my cousin's wedding dinner but this time, its my Dad's side. I don't know this cousin well but I still went for the dinner, not trying to disappoint my Dad for not turning up. Yeah, it was only Dad and me. Where's Mum? Family issues, as ususal, will cause my Mum to put me to be the person to represent my Mum and Sister for the dinner. I wanted to play soccer badly, as well as accompanying Auntie Emily but guess, I have to give in to this event for the day.

Anyway, I managed to get the picture of the flyer while travelling on my Uncle's van. It was a nice shot, I guess, with all the wheels covered. =] Then, once we were at the venue, we had to wait for nearly an hour before all guests arrived and were seated. Since we had nothing to do, my younger nephews started to laugh at me, sort of killing their time to ease boredom. I was showing my normal reactions and they laughed. Yeah... Laugh for the next half hour, which I had no idea how they did that and what was so funny. Haix...

Food was up and everything went well. I did had a few sips of red wine and my face went super red. Gosh! My family just cant take wine. I know I'm bad with that and I cant practise on the drinking part. I shall just treat it as a source of fun and social entertainment then. By then, I was tired when I reached home. Anyway, nice wedding! I hope cousin Raymond and his bride, Michelle, to have a wonderful life together. My blessings to the two of you =]

Guess I shall stop here. I feel abit tired but its alright. Tomorrow there's the Drumzoult 08 event at Toa Payoh and I hope the Canberrians of my school can do it. I will be there to help them. Hope they can do their best~! =]

More Pictures To Add

Just a random entry. I just want to share some of the pictures that I had took for the past few months which I snapped using my handphone. Some could be out of date but sure enough, they do bring memories. =]

Outing With Auntie Em (11th June)

It’s been some time since I recover from my fever and I finally got the chance to meet up with Auntie Emily for a day’s out on Wednesday to the city area. Initially, we wanted to meet on Monday but due to my sickness, I guessed we had to postpone it. Before that, we planned to have a movie on Wednesday but she did not want it, as she doesn’t feel like watching we decided to shop around the malls.

Although the entertainment factor wasn’t there, we still try to entertain ourselves, one way or another. We started our outing at Marina Square, where we decide to walk around the mall. There was this shop that sells gadgets and guess what, Auntie Emily asked me to open that bottle of sweets. I didn’t know that it was that kind of gadget that shocks your fingers once you opened it and I fell for that trick. It was the first shock but then, she showed me a bubblegum and I thought it was something like, you pull the gum and a cockroach will come out. Instead, it was another electric shock. Zzz… Same hand, twice the shock. Gosh~! My finger was numb for a moment before it gets back to its senses…

After walking around Marina Square, we head to Suntec City’s arcade to have a game of basketball. As usual, Auntie Emily always wins me but this time, by a lot of margin. My best points, I should say was 143. While for her, she hit her highest score of 396. Great! I guess I need more practice for that but at least I still can try winning her in a real game of basketball. Alright, not the shooting but probably the lay-ups? I guess if I lose her on basketball, I shall be changing another sport to win her. Yeah.. She always wins, why? Please… Someone tell me…
After the game, we went to walk around at Carrefour before going to Macdonalds for a meal. She was having gastric by then and I was really worried about her situation. She often has gastric pains and it worsen after she had her yoghurt drink. Well, at least she ate some fries at Macdonalds. However, our drink nearly fell on the floor after she accidentally put the drink in front of me. I managed to hope the cup, with all my funny movements before I saved the drink from spilling the entire area. Phew! Next time, guys shall hold the drinks…

Before we went back home, I went to Mans Studio to buy a long sleeve shirt (below). Although it is purple in colour, I still like the material itself. When you wear it, you feel very comfortable. What matters most was it does suites the jeans or pants that I wear, which means it can be used for formal and informal occasions. Also, not to forget, that was chosen by Auntie Emily. I’m bad with taste and even though it’s a bit expensive ($63), it is still worthwhile to buy such a shirt since I rarely shop.

Purple Long Sleeve Shirt

I also got myself a swimming trunk (mine’s missing. I don’t know why…) from Northpoint. The only thing that shocked me was when the person asked me if I would like to try on it. I replied a loud “HUH?!” to the sales person, I guess that shocked the rest of the people in the store. Well, at last I got my swimming trunk after hunting it for some time. Now, I have no fear of going for swimming with my own swimming trunk. The previous piece looked like it would tore anytime. Yikes…

Alright, that’s all for now! V.E. camp is next week and the length of the camp had been cut short from 3 days to 2 days. Great! I don’t understand why the senior management would do such a thing to cut down our bonding purposes. Later, I still have a wedding to attend, which means no soccer for tonight. However, I still have some time to recover my hamstring injury. That will be good enough for me by next Friday, which I will be much refresh for my soccer game again. =]

A Story From A Friend...

This is what my friend told his other friend about this matter, about a female friend of theirs, who passed away due to the world's number one killer disease; cancer.

It's gonna be a short one but hope it is impactful, which changes people's minds.

Alice (not the real name) was an active gal. She likes sports alot and was having a bright future ahead of her life. At that time, she was just only Secondary 4, preparing to take her 'O' levels and head for Polytechnic or Junior College. However, one tiny and stupid accident occured had changed her life completely.

During a sports training, she accidentally fell and had a swollen kneecap. Thinking that it was nothing severe, she continue to her training, without seeking for any medical attention the next few days. Soon, the swell got worsen and her Dad brought her to see a doctor at a nearby clinic. The doctor gave her some pain killer pills but the swell wont heal. By then, they had no choice but to seek help from the hospital.

The next instance when they got the doctor to check out the swell, it was suspected that the swell was no ordinary swell. With a few rounds of X-Ray checks, it was found that cancerous cells are spreading from the leg. She went for thermotherapy and the results was not good too. By then, the cancerous cells had already spread around her body and it was the last stage for cancer. To her, college and polytechnic are over, yet the only task remains was to stay awake each morning to see the same surroundings around her.

She was gone a few weeks ago. Memories are the only thing that she left for her friends and family members. Well, I am not close to her but she reminds me of my Primary school mate who also lost the battle against such a disease. Believe or not, life can be brittle. A small injury could cause such a disaster in a person's life.

For me, my advise is to get people to see a doctor if the injury still persist, or else when it is too late, then it will be bad. However, that is not the only thing that concerns me, the person who dont wish to see doctors should attempt to see one if the pain still persist. At least you know what is happening to your injury or pain. All I could say now is that, if the person who is losing his or her life, does not mind about it, it shows how brave you are. However, think about the ones who cares for you.

That's all I could type for now. The rest is up to you readers if you believe in this story or not. Medical bills cost a bomb but care and concern brings courage for patients to live on and fight for another day. Life is brittle, yes it is....

Fever....

It's the first week of the 2 weeks break and before I could enjoy myself, I'm sick! Great!! Now I can't go out for gym and other places. Hmmm... V.E. peeps, I think Wednesday I cant have a gym session with you guys. I don't know if I'm totally recovered but guess I shall rest at home. While for Auntie Em, so sorry.. I cant meet you out for our date these days. I know you want me to rest but I hope my body can get better as soon as possible.

Haix... What a spoiler... maybe I can concentrate my project later in the afternoon. I think I should rest now. Gosh! Abit dizzy again... Zzzz....

Holidays Starting... Haix...

Nothing much today... Right now, I'm watching the first match of the Euro 2008 on my television, as well as typing this post with my laptop. Well, Switzerland vs. Czech Republic and the current score is 0 - 0. What the... Everyone did their misses with their shots and I have nothing to say.

Before that, Singapore lost to Uzbekistan, again, but with a better score of 1 - 0, compared to its previous scoreline, 7 - 3. Althought both defeats, I think Singapore did pretty well with the play, I guess. I did not watch the match as I was outside jogging with Cai Yun. Yes! 11pm around Woodlands area. Cai Yun wanted to train her run, part of her prepartions for the coming July 'Shape Run', which dear Auntie Emily will be joining too. The only difference between the 2 of them is one runs for 5km, while the other, 10km. LOL! Cai Yun did her best today with approximately 4km, for about 30 minutes or so. It was a new beginning for her since she had not been training for the past few weeks. Anyway, you did well Cai Yun, don't lose faith in your run. =]

For the entire today, I was working at the Yishun Swimming Complex. I was not feeling that good for no particular reason. I was just moody, plain moody. I talked to the parents without hanging a smile on my face, I was fierce and harsh with the kids... Maybe that is part of the job but it does not make my day go great. I think I got better with my mood when its evening, probably after I had my break time or because working hours are getting shorter by each second that passed.

Well, two incidents that occured to me did affect me greatly today. The serious one, was when a kid ran and fell, hitting his head on the metal flooring. I have no idea of the kid's run but when I saw it, I walked to the father, who was then carrying the helpless kid; who was crying; and asked how was his condition. The father seemed to be angry but to me, I can't do anything either. I do fear that the father will complain for my negliance but for once, how am I supposed to watch out for so many kids with a pair of eyes. He didn't blame me, so I also did not do anything. Luckily, the kid was not suffered with serious injuries. Phew~!

The other incident was when a mother and her two sons went to the Wading Pool to play the slide. First, the kids were playing the slide. No objection from at all since they fit the category for the play. Then, the mother went to play the slide. No choice but I must blow my whistle to warn the lady. What the lady did? She climbed up the slide... Great! Now thanks to what she had done, the kids started to learn from her. They slide down, not really all the way down, then climbed up again. So it went up and down, up and down, which was resulted me blowing the whistle at them. The mother shouted at them to get them down the slide and they did. Guess what happened next, the mother whacked the arse of both kids for being disobedient. -.-" Er... the phrase was "Monkey see, Monkey do" and when the parent did something stupid, the kid followed, of course! So, who's fault was it, the kids? Or the parent? LOL!!

Well, yesterday I had soccer with Eugene and gang. Bad day for the team, as Eugene got a sprain on his ankle just 15 minutes of the game. He had no choice but to rest for the entire matches that we played. We won the first game but for me, it was not that good at all. I was still rated as 'INJURED' but I still contiue to play. I could run but my movements were slow and I could not make big movements like stretching my leg or do a full stretch being a goalie.

Well, I was the goalie for the 2nd game and we lost, thanks to a blunder from me. I hold the ball but the person kicked it back. It happened a few times when I hold the ball and yet the guy keeps kicking, as if he does not know what is fair play. You know the goalie gets the ball and you wants to kick the damn ball. Since you need it badly, why play? Should I just put the ball past my own goal, and let you have the ball and play on your own till you are satisfied? Crazy fellow... ZZzzz.... Andy was not to be blame for the mistake but seriously, when one has an injury, it is really difficult to play. The rest of the soccer was bored but at least, I still can run about.

Earlier on, I was in Canberra Secondary in the morning to do my project but V.J. was not free. I didnt do the project at the end of the day. I went back to Nanyang Polytechnic and past my lappy to Kah Hong as I promised him I'll pass it to him. However, I ended up doing nothing for the next two hours, but luckily, I came out with some questions for my interview with my coach, for Coaching module. Gosh! I really hope to do lots of things during the 2 weeks break but too many stuff to do that I have no time for that. Haix... Better luck next time, hope so...

Day 2 has Gone...
Still missing you...
Life is weird when you are gone...
Why? I dont know...
Just cant adapt to such small things in life...

This Week's Update... Finally!!

Its morning again and I’m back typing my post for this week’s update. Sorry folks, times have changed and there’s no time for me to slack and do a short typing. Maybe I gonna have updates only for important matters. Since the TEP days to the 180 degree change to academic studies, it is quite difficult to cope with. Similarly like Andy, my classmate and so-called buddy in NYP, he came back from Finland but had difficulty sleeping. Why? That is because of the change in the timings between the 2 countries that he really needs time to adapt the whole change. Changes, I wonder if this adaptation can be over sooner.

Well, Monday was a crappy day, as I mentioned on the previous post, ICA tips are mend for making life easier for students but for James Wong, he was just making a fool out of us. Initially, the ICA consultation was to help students but it ended up us students, being fooled by him. He makes every topic so important that we ended up learning everything. Nice tips dude, maybe you want to check the dictionary what is the real meaning of tips? Gosh! Luckily for once, he’s not our PEM or else many of us will faint for sure.

Tuesday and Wednesday was ICA day. Tuesday was the coverage for N.S.A. and I manage to make it I guess. I have a few questions that I have no idea to answer but I guess, it won’t be as worst as Coaching, which was a disaster. (Again, thanks for the ‘tips… -.-“) Well, Wednesday wasn’t a good day for me, with 4 tests to cover, and 3 tests to continue after each hour subsequently, this was really making me go crazy! First was Coaching, gone case… Second was Entrepreneurship, can score… Third was Quality Management, just pass-just fail situation… and lastly, Calculus, good game. Gosh! I was sick (really sick) and tired to study. I was considering of dropping Calculus by then but Andy came out with a solution, which was to study together. Alright, that was not a bad idea but do I have enough time the rest of the modules? I don’t know…

Yesterday was Cherrie’s birthday celebration and before the celebration, there was school. Well, what time school starts, 11am instead of 9am, due to the cancelling of class. What time school ends, 1pm. What time I reach school, 1pm! Nice try. I was very punctual on that day.

Yeah!! Anyway, back to Cherrie’s birthday celebration, we went to Wakado (I think so…) at Marina Square for dinner. There are 2 outlets in Marina Square and we entered the wrong one. When we found it, we went to our ‘room’, which is personalized for us. It is heard that if you have 6 guests and above, you can have a special room of your own for your meal. Interesting!

I had some don (Gosh!! I forget what was that!) and some hot sake. Nice! It was my first time drinking hot sake and the feeling is not so weird like the normal wines that I had drank before. Once we finished our meals, we played ‘5 – 10’ and the loser needs to drink the sake. After that, it was ‘总计密码’ and the loser needs to drink the ‘wine’ that we had made for the person. Just think about it. Sake with salted prinkles… Yikes.. Weird… But the loser still must bottoms up the whole cup. LOL!

That was what happened these days. Gosh! Finally I finish typing the crap that I had to do it. Haha… Anyway, now, I guess I will be doing nothing much these few days. Projects and working. Auntie Emily went to Malaysia with her family. Haix… Well, at least I have my Pro Evolution Soccer with me but I guess, I still need to concentrate more on constructive work. =P

Thinking of…. =X

Late Update!! Last Week's Events... ZZzz...

I finally get to have some time to do an update for what had happened for the past two weeks while I’m busy with my studies and reports. Well, things have been quite terrible these days in school. I’m currently sick; cough, flu and sore throat; and drained; after having stupid ICAs, also known as tests, for the past few days and the reports for submission. Holidays are here but there is no rest for me after all. Projects are here to torture me, what a nice holiday…

Alright, let me start the diary crap, which I missed out last week’s and this week’s. I shall start with the weekdays, when it was the preparations for our ICAs. Every lecturer tries their best to give tips to their students on what topics are coming out for the test. However, there was one who was creating a terrible time for us, which was our Coaching lecturer, Mr. James Wong. Why him only? Imagine the lecturers tried their best to close down the test topics, to prepare their students. For James Wong, he was the one who state that all topics are important for the test. Worst come to worst, the next week when there was ICA consultation, he told us that this and that are important, but it ended up with all topics are to be learnt. Nothing was considered ‘not important’ in the book, so we ended up studying everything. That sucks~!

Next up, Auntie Emily came to my house on Friday as we watched ‘命中注定我爱你’ together. It was a nice show that she recommended me to watch since I have nothing much to do after finish watching ‘原来我不帅’. Anyway, the show is getting much in-depth and makes me feel excited, wanting to know what is going to happen in the next plot. Gosh!! I guess I’m addicted with it! Just like Auntie Emily, who loves watching drama shows like those kinds.

That night’s soccer, I was not playing my best. I know it very well but maybe that’s because of the Biathlon that I took part on Wednesday. Mentioning about the Biathlon in NYP, it reminded me of how ‘fast’ I was going throughout the 8 laps of swim. I was fast at first but ended up getting slower than before. In the end, I was like shagged as my energy seemed to be low. I had not been practicing my swim for weeks so I understand such fatigue will occur. When I finished my 8 laps of swim, it was time for Ping Ding to do the running. Ping Ding was my partner as we did team mix relay event. By then, I could not see where her hand was but was really beating around to tap her hand. Gosh… Guess I was too tired after all. We did not win but morale of the story is ‘Strive to Win’, we did it. Anyway, thanks for Auntie Emily, who was there to support us. =]

Well, back to soccer, as I mentioned earlier, I did not play well. I only did well in passing but I fell a few times while trying to chase the ball. The floor was wet, I agree. My shoes were loosing its friction, probably. However, what I hate most is my connection to the ball, which apparently fails me to secure a shot into the goal post. I assisted 2 times to Jimmy, who connected the shot the first time with a goal but was ruled goal kick. The second was not taken by anyone but I managed to pass the ball at the by-line of the pitch, with the ball going between the legs of the player. Gosh! What luck! The best part came when the ball hits forward and I headed it back, which it bounced on the floor, with Jimmy securing the victory with a low volley. Cool!! Nice first touch from him! =]

Sunday was the most important thing in the entire week. 1st of June, a day where I should remember; it was my cousin’s wedding. How can I describe this cousin of mine? I remembered when I was young, my sister and I will hide all the chocolates that we had in our refrigerator to prevent him from eating them. My cousin fancies chocolates a lot and I have no idea why it is always at our house.

Anyway, I woke up early in the morning and went to take a bus to his house. I was a bad morning I should say, when my EZ-Link card was not working. I could not take the bus at all as it was scanned with the words ‘ERROR! Please try again!’ yet I went to the MRT station to check its status, the person told me it was alright. I went to take a bus again and the same thing happened. Gosh!!

When I reached his house, some of the relatives were already there. It was fun chatting with them as it is once in a blue moon since we get together for such occasions. Well, the bride and groom came back and it was tea-ceremony for them. I don’t have the pictures of the group photos but it was a fun experience after all.

Dinner was at Orchard but I’m not sure what restaurant I was at. We took some pictures before hand and guess what, I injured my hamstring thanks to a stupid post I did. Haha… Well, it was just for fun but did snap a lot of pictures that night. We had lots of great food but the worst part for the night was I spilled red wine on the table. Bad!! I was turning the plate on the table when the spoon on one of the bowls, hit the glass of red wine and down the wine goes as it spilled on the table. The best part was the manager came over to us and helps us to clear the mess and asked my cousin this.

Manager: “Sir, did you stain your pants or shirt? You need to go for a change?”

Cousin: “Change? What you mean by that?”

Manager: “You can change your pants which we will provide you with one and enjoy your meal while we dry your pants immediately.”

Cousin: (Looking =.=” ) Er… I think its alright… Thanks…

I think that was the most embarrassing thing my cousin had faced before. Haha… My bad for that. It was a great feeling to see my cousins gather together and have fun. One thing is for sure, it does not mean to have something bad to happen in order for a gathering to take place. Something good happened will also be good. =]

Alright, that’s all for last week. However, I shall continue to post about this week’s event. I need time for that but I’m tired, especially after drinking some alcoholic drinks today at Cherrie’s birthday celebration. Drunk? Maybe not. I’m still fit alright, not weak! =]

你不在的下三天,到底我是如何怎么过的?
我不知道。
但我只希望,这三天能快点过去。
因为我想见你。
