TEP Week 2 and so on...
Its indeed a tiring week for me, especially concert is just like... 2 days time?! I dont know whether I'm ready or not but I know that giving up now is not an alternative. The only choice I can choose is to work hard and sing hard. Haha... Sort of... Anyway, just a summary of last week's events...
Last Wednesday was the S.W. Carnival, organised by Ryan. Its main aim is to get the juniors bond with us but it was quite a messy one. The timings were all haywire, which I think there's some miscommunication. Anyway, everything still went according to plan and what matters most is that everyone enjoys the game.
One of the games I played was basketball first. I got myself injuried as I was being tripped by two guys. I end up hurting my kneecap, which hurts for the next few days after that. Well, after that, the team had a mini discussion and a change of plan ahs been made. To get the gals to participate, we had captain ball. It was a nice game but I caused some of them to collasped onto the floor and started laughing uncontrollably. Siew Boon and I did a one-two passing but half way through, the ball hit my head and I showed the shock face... Zzz... Well, at least it was still entertaining but I learnt that gals are rough.. very rough...
Next up was seniors against the juniors for a soccer match. I scored the 1st goal, thanks to a cross from Daryl. As he crossed from the right flank, I headed the ball and it went into the goal. Woot!! Haha... The game continued with the score at 3-1 and we won. Haha... All thanks to Raymond, who was the star of the match, by assisting 2 goals. I missed my shot several times but at least, I know that I could do better the next time. This might be the training that we are preparing for the Soccer Tournament in NYP on 1st December.
[To be continue... Tired... Zzz....]Oops... Alright... I am back again. I was not feeling that good while typing the entry since I have been sleeping quite late these days and finally I have to type it again, after 2 days, which is like 12.45pm now,2nd November in NYP during my attachment. Gosh!! Well, lets get back to my crap again.
Thursday was AWWA and was my first time demostating to the elderly how to do some exercises. It might sound easy but at last I am getting the hang of it. I mean, I can socialise with kids than to elderly. Well, I was nervous at the beginning, talking to a group of elderly, which is about 30 of them. Luckily there are my teammates with me or else I would be dumbfolded. Anyway, it does take some courage to do things in front of many people. Once the exercise was done, we had this game, known as "Pass The Ball". The game was quite fun but the problem still remains.. What other games are better for next week's activity?
Sunday was the Adidas Womens Monthly Run and my job was being a road marshall. It is my first time being a road marshall. As usual, I am an anti-social person, quite... Its not so easy to get people to be motivated with some smiles. I know that but at least I gonna give it a try isnt it? Haha...
Hence, I started to wait for the participants to run to my route that I am stationed at. However, as the waiting turns into torture. I ended up singing like a mad guy. All the chinese songs I have in mind, I just sing it out to kill my boredem. I started to enjoy it and it does make myself feel high. Its like... you are not only motivating the rest but also warming your vocals, preparing to shout out loud to get the people to be motviated. Haha... The event ended at 11 plus that day and I know it was not a bad idea to be a road marshall. I know it could be boring standing at the junction alone but it does shows how capable are you when you are bored. What are you going to do to kill boredem. Haha.. Now that's part of the challenge I guess.
Hmmm... I guess I shall stop here. I really have nothing to say. Haha... Well, at least this week's TEP is quite fun. With the slot from 5pm to 6pm as our P.E. session, everyone seems to enjoy the workout. Handball is part of the sport we like. Maybe we can have it as a competition. Haha... Thats all folks!!

Great Eastern Womens Run 07
Its my first time participating such external events. Normally, I would be quite reluctant to do so as I'm not into such stuff, such as helping out or something. I would probably staying at home, using the computer or even just go the carpark and play soccer alone just to kill time. Anyway, this is one of the events that we are suppose to do during the whole SPT program, then no one has the choice but to do it, as a team.
Anyway, I cant sleep last night after watching soccer at Jia Long's house with Eugene, Jimmy and Kian Wee. Yeah... Liverpool won 2-1 to Everton but that doesnt matter. It was a nice match but seriously, the better team didnt win. Liverpool did scrape through with 2 penalties awarded, which I find the 1st penalty wasnt much a contact. Well, its all done and set but still, Eugene's happy with the result while I'm being entertained, then it doesnt matter anymore.
I woke up at 5am this morning, thanks to Azirah's morning SMS and my Mum's alarm clock. Haix... Once I'm awake, I went to check the scores for Manchester United match and goodness gracious me, they won 4-1 to Aston Villa. Phew... What a relief... Well, once I'm done with the packing, I ran down to the nearby bus-stop to meet Azirah and we took a cab down to get Huai Xin before heading to Funan Mall for the meet-up.
The taxi driver was a bad driver, maybe he can choose to switch into a better career or something. He asked silly questions which I have no choice but to help him. Questions like "Where is Gambus Avenue?" and "Where is Funan Mall? Is it at City Hall? Do you know how to go there?" -.-" Gosh!! We wont be asking for a cab if we know the place well... The good thing about everything is still, we manage to be there on time.
Once everyone was there, we went to the booth to check things out for the event. Mr Dexter came moments later and he gave us the Addidas shirt, shorts and shoes for our work duty. Although the shoes are all custom made sizes, which has all the weird numbers imprinted into it, it is still good to own one pair of shoes, which cost around $130 to $180 in the current marktet. In additon of the shirt and shorts... that would be more than $250 in total??!! Cool!
The event begins and the gang and I, except for Kenny, Farhan, Daryl and Ryan, are helping out to count the shoes that were wore by the runners. This is to reseach on the record of how many people are wearing Addidas shoes, as well as to know who are their compeitors and what could be done to market your stuff and win your competitors and many stuff. I was in-charge of New Balance shoes so I gonna watch out for the 'N' logo.
It wasnt that good at first as the runners are too fast. Luckily there's Firduaz helping me or else I will go bonkers. Anyway, I got to know the technique of looking at the shoes and it was amazing. Its easy if there is 2 or 3 runners running in front of you but the problem comes when 10 or 15 of them run pass you at an instance. Hence, the speed of looking at things must be quick. Luckily, I gonna be competing in Standard Chartered and if I dont, I guess I would be counting shoes for 40,000 people instead of today's 7,500??!! By the end of the look out for the shoes, once I turn my attention to other stuff, my eyes seems to be fooling me. The road moving through this illusion and I need to close my eyes and rest. Haha... Too much shoes is bad for eyesight I guess. Haha...
Anyway, once everything was done, I felt happy for it, at least I do learn some new stuff about how to promote your events and many more. It sounds easy but actually, these companies are smart enough to provide customers with services instead of just passing flyers around. That's a good tactic that in the future we could learn if we want to market our products. Anyway, by the end of the day, everyone seems to be enjoying the event. James Wong was there with his son, Jordon. He is one cute little guy but he doesnt talk at all. Maybe he's just shy... hehe...
With a debrief of the event and with some words from Mr Dexter and James Wong, the event is finally done and closed. Some of us went to had lunch, also known as breakfast for some at Marina Square before heading home. Huai Xin and I took the same train and we just doze off straight. I'm too tired till I dont feel like getting out of the train. I alighted at Sembawang, making the effort to go to the library first before heading home. Its just a habit of mine, which I dont think its easy to drop it. Once I'm home, a nice shower and let my torrents to run the whole day before I sleep. Haha.... Too shagged...
Tomorrow is a new day again. Back to attachment and I have tons of stuff to do. Alright!!! I gonna work hard, for my results, for my projects, for the concert and for my SLEEP!!! I gonna rest now...
I had a haircut just now. I dont know what's gonna be like tomorrow morning when I style my hair but.... haix... Hope its nice... [ =_= ]

Week 1 of TEP
Sorry people, I really hardly had the time to blog these days due to the busy schedule I have in school. The TEP is quite tiring and with the concert coming up, there is alot of things to prepare and I guess its quite taxing at times. Well, I shall blog about my TEP experience for this week then.
First day of TEP was a great! I dont mean by waking up as early as 7.30am and attend for school but the whole working environment is quite condusive. I dont have any stress doing these jobs but the main problem was thinking what to plan out for the up-coming weeks during our attachment in school. As what Mr James Wong, our TEP manager for Sport & Wellness Management, had said before, "The most difficult thing is to work with others..." Yeah! Its quite difficult as I'm always used to do things individually.
Anyway, everyone was slacking like nobody's business. Everyone are not used to the timing for school so maybe we will get use to it soon. During the afternoon, the SPT room became our soccer venue. We found this ball and everyone started kicking around. It ended up with the Bodywatch gym crew joining us to have a mini soccer tournament. It ended when the Fitness Instructor, James Tan, came and he told us that each batch has a new game each time there's a change of people using the room. Haha... I guess that's the Sport & Wellness tradition.
Wednesday was not that fun at all. Since we have submit our proposals to Wong, everyone had to do their proposal the night before. I ended up sleeping at 1.30am that night and end up, nearly late for lessons. Well, what's worst is that we had to propose our ideas to him, which means a 3 hours meeting. OMG!! My stomach was rumbling but its not only me. Everyone is really hungry.
By evening, I was totally exhausted. I still have V.E. sectionals and I was getting sleepy when its around 9 plus. In the end, once practise was over, I had a short meeting, went back home and do my stuff. Still, I wish I could complete everything as soon as possible but it turned out to be 1.30am again for my rest. -.-" Gosh! Its isnt that easy to get a good timing for sleep these days...
Thursday was a total hell for me I guess. Imagine you are dying to sleep but you have other stuff to do!! I was not late for my TEP that morning, which is quite good. I have been reaching the venue right at the dot of the time, thanks for my legs, which has the pace to get me all the way from the MRT station to the Sports hall within 7 minutes....
I ended up doing the demo for the exercises that are going to be implmented to AWWA on next Thursday and guess what, I feel like a demo-robot, a retarded one. Just think about it... I have to demo to my teammates but actually I was talking to 10 chairs, acting as I'm talking to the elderly in the home. I ended up adding some spice in the whole 1 hour demo with me talking to myself, as a response of the elderly. Firduaz was thinking I have gone bonkers, keep talking to myself. Huai Xin thinks that I'm just self-entertaining that's all. Haha...
When its time for V.E., I really feel like collasping. My eyes ended up in various types as the hour pass by.
7pm -> (^_^)
8pm -> (~_~)
9pm -> (=_=)
10pm -> (x_x)
I ended up seating on the chair and started singing with my eyes closed. I was not feeling that good either. My head was aching, my chest was hurting, probably because I did the wrong exercise in the gym and I was hungry and tired. Nice try... Everything just shoot my body with one single 'STRESS' bullet... Stupid body of mine... Still, I ended up sleeping at 1.30am AGAIN!! Haix... Work isnt easy these days...
Friday was much better as we were briefed for Sunday's event, which is the Great Eastern Women's Run. Everyone in the team gonna be there helping out and I guess I would be dead by then. I have to rest well and get ready on that day, as well as finishing all my proposals and reports or else I wont be able to find time to sleep.
Since I was still busy till the evening, Raymond and I went to buy our dinner since our shift was over. We took the skate scooters out from the store room and started to skate from the Sports Hall to Kou Fu to have our dinner and skated back. Haha... Sounds fun but actually, we are trying to save time too. This is a good thing... that's another aspect you get to see from Sport & Wellness student. Haha..
Alright, thats all for the update. I gonna go for gym soon so I'm starting to prepare my stuff. Anyway, thanks people, for the concern while seeing me getting tired and all these stuff. Dont worry, I wont get tired in the next session for V.E.. We dont have much time left so I will still continue to fight all the way!!! :)

I'm having TEP now and I seriously dont have the mood to type this. I have too much stuff to do and I gonna rush everything tonight. Now all my plans for outing or whatever crap I could think of is all booked.
Tired... Hungry... Pain... Busy... Thats what I could of now to describe about me. Damn the chest pain I'm having... Pray my letters for the organisers are accepted. Haix... Working is really a bull. Back to work now... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........

李玖哲 - 围墙
Heard that this song was composed by JJ Lin Jun Jie to Li Hiu Zhe Nicky. The title's called "Wei Qiang", also known as Wall. Yeah! A simple word but with a wonderful story behind it. I love the music, which is now being played in my blog. Anyway, hope everyone likes this song, which I'm madly in love with it, especially its dynamics. Haha... Below are the lyrics, enjoy!
Verse 2 and
Chorus x2

Bad Day...
Now I really realised what kind of crap do a lifeguard get when he or she starts to have his or her duty in the Wading Pool. Yesterday was one hell of a time for me. All the weird stuff have been occuring these days and it seems that it would never stop.
For instance, 3 small gals, around 5 to 7 years, are using their water guns and spraying at me continuously. I said stop but they still continue. My shirt was wet and I really have to run for my life. What the... Dont tell me I'm expected to lie on the ground and act dead?! OMG!! I guess this is my first time I lost my authority to 3 little kids who I didnt know.
Then, this kid was climbing at the edge of the slide and it was freaking dangerous. She's only 3 years old I guess and was doing something risky. I ended up running to her with my whistle blowing to warn her actions. Haix... I really wonder what the parents are doing. Luckily nothing happens to her or else if the parent complain or my colleagues knew about it, I will be in deep trouble...
Well, I really want to add on but I dont wish to, or else I wont be a old hag who sounded so gay with all the happenings in the pool. Haha... Well, its been raining these days but I really like Friday evening. I was doing my duty and by then, hundreds of birds (I assumed) flew past the sky and it was at a very close range between me and the birds. Imagine a bunch of them flying near the pool, which means just near your height but higher by a metre or two??!! Wonderful!! No wonder they said nature is the most beautiful thing on Earth...
Right now, I'm quite tired, after having my swim at Yishun. Before that, I went to the library at Woodlands to return my book, as well as giving Chris her dinner. I know that she's there and I know she wont eat anything in order to safe money, so I brought her some food that my Mum had cooked for dinner. Meanwhile, I managed to saw Diana... We never talk at all since she's inside the study area while I'm outside. Its just a wink and thats all. Haha... I think she's treating the library as he favourite hideout for mugging?! Maybe just a small suggestion, trying bringing your sleeping bag along, it will be cool if you stay overnight... Kidding... LOL!!
During the morning, Mum's new washing machine was here. Cool! It has this impressive design and makes one ponder if its made from the outer space, fully stainless steel?!! Well, one thing I learnt today is not to assume things in your way. Secondly, try not to say something funny when your English is not at that standard yet.
The guy who serviced us with the washing machine was asking help from my Uncle and when he couldnt get him over, he asked me to call my Dad over. I took some time to realise that he was refering to my Uncle, who seemed to look old and assumed that he's my Dad. Alright... That's a small mistake.. Its okay but still, it sucks.
Then, Mum wanted to pay the person with a cheque but nice try when she said something to the guy. "Is your gal..... " Never mind about the dialogue, I shall explain here. She was asking if that guy works under this lady but instead of saying that, she said 'your gal' in a way that everyone would know the lady seems to be the guy's girlfriend or wife. OMG!! I didnt know Mum was asking that question and luckily the man didnt answered. I was laughing uncontrollably but still managed to stop after that.
Lesson: English is important. No matter what you want to say, use the right words!
Alright... Nap time... Tomorrow there's TEP. First day of the whole thing and its a new beginning I guess. Everything gonna be put aside... Seems like a barrier to me with others but... I dont care...

Fantasy League
Since I have nothing to do, I just make a random post for today. Seriously, nothing happened much today as I was working in the pool. Haha. Well, at least I get to see some weird stuff happening in the swimming pool but realised that it was just nothing after all. Hmmm... I only can say this to describe something...
"Saw a gal in red, which make all guys sway.
Learn her true identity, makes one change completely."
Gosh!! I cant believe it that the gal in red is his... Haix... Sad-ed!! Haha... Well, still its not my type I guess. LOL!!!
Anyway, I gonna type some crap about my Fastasy Soccer League. I'm been hoping to do that but didnt have the time to do so. So, lets get started then...
Champions LeagueThis are the players thar I have selected for the UEFA Champions League. I really have no idea how its being played but it should be interesting. Its my 1st time playing this fantasy league which consist of elimination in the further stages of the game. Well, here it goes:
Well, as you can click into the picture and see, I have 3 AC Milan players, mainly Paolo Maldini (defender); Ivan Gennaro Guttuso (midfielder) and Filippo Inzaghi (striker). As a Manchester United fan, I cant pick too much United players as they dont play the same kind of standards between EPL and CL. Hence, I only picked Evra (defender) and Nani (midfielder) to be in my team. They are quite good in their play, and most importantly, Erva is the only left back that Manchester United is having so it means he has the chance to play for every game?!
Moreover, I still add some of the great scorers to be in the team such as Wesley Sneijder (midfielder) and Robin Van Persie (striker). Although they might not score goals, they still manage to assist for a few goals to be created. This will eventually help me to gain more points.
Currently, Eugene and I are playing this Champions League Fantasy but we have not compare our rankings yet. Its quite complicated I guess. It sounds easy but I still have no idea how its being played till today. Gosh!! I'm like a noob to this...
English Premier LeagueAt least I'm more prepared with this section. I have 2 teams to introduce, which is one from ESPN Soccernet.com and the other from EPL.com. Anyway, I shall start with ESPN Soccernet's team and later, EPL.com. Here they are:
Being more experienced with how its gonna be played, I choose a potential goalie, which is Kasper Schmeichel from Man City. He's been playing quite good this season so why not, I should give it a try on him!
For defence, I chose the solid defenders such as Micah Richards and Nemanja Vidic. Steven Taylor might be still new but he's getting himself a name from the club, so as Christopher Samba from Blackburn.
Midfielders are always a big problem for me. There will be tons of players to choose from and one will get to think which would be the one ideal to your team. Hence, I chose Jermaine Jenas, Gareth Barry, Charles N'Zogbia and Thomas Rosicky. Both Jenas and Rosicky played important roles for their assist in goals while Gareth Barry is used to score for free-kicks and penalties. As for Zogbia.... Hmm... I still have no idea what he's good at but he's one important dude for Newcastle.
Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor are the perfect pair for my striking force. I dont why I would choose them but Tevez is a sure must! Haha... At least they can provide me with some goals, I would be happy enough for the rest of the season.
Now for the EPL.com team...
I have Czech as my goalie and he seems to be stable right now compared to the past few games. Anyway, this is my 1st time playing the game so I was thinking of the wrong strategies while playing. Now I learnt my lesson. Haha...
Defence is as usual, with Ferdinand (West Ham); Riise (Liverpool); Cahill (Formally from Aston Villa, now On-Loan) and Vidic (Man Utd). Konchesky (Fulham) was my back-up defender. I was thinking that it was quite good, with Riise and Vidic to get the points but it turn out to be wrong.
Midfielders are much stronger than before, with Ronaldo (Man Utd); Jenas (Totterham); N'Zogbia (Nescastle) and Joe Cole (Chelsea). Ronaldo is scoring goals and with assist from Jenas and J.Cole, its will improve my ranks in the league I'm in.
Tevez and Tuncay are the 2 players I used as my ideal striking partner. I dont know why I choose Tuncay but I guess, I choose him because of the statistics I read through my previous version of 'Football Manager 2007'. Haha... Weird me... but that's how I choose my team.
For now, lets hope its a good season for my team to get a better scoring compared to the rest of the mates in the league. I dont wish to get bottom last again. That sucks!! Haha...

Nothing to Do...
I'm just back home not long ago and right now, its 12.36am. I'm so tired now due to some stupid reasons but some meaningful ones. Haha..
Well, I did something foolish last night by drinking Jeremy's iced latte and guess what, I couldnt sleep for the entire night. I know I was sleeping but the thing is I'm consciously aware that I'm sleeping. This means that I'm still unable to enter the illusion side of my world. Gosh!! That sucks to the core and when I really fall into a deep sleep, I took a peek at my phone and its 7.15am. Nice try...
Well, I woke up at 8.30am then since I need to go back to school for some stuff regarding to the AWWA project that would be past on to my batch. Anyway, the good thing is that I'm not late for today. I was quite punctual... Haha... Once everyone gathered together, we head straight to AWWA and I got to learn the various procedures of the whole management. The elderly are a bunch of cheerful people, which should be nice to interact with I guess. Haha... Hope our batch could provide them with the same happiness that they had from the S(A)...
Well, V.E. was quite alright as we sang the music pieces that we are going to sing during our concert. My pitchings are still on and off, which makes me worry quite abit since time is running out. I guess I need to start pushing myself to sing the right notes for the concert. Anyway, who's interested to watch us perform?? Below are the details of the concert:
Event: NYP Voice Ensemble Les Voix ConcertDate: 2nd November 2007Venue: NYP Theatre of Fine ArtsTime: 7pm (I think so...)Anyone who's interested in going, please contact me and I can prepare the tickets for you all if I have enough of it. All are welcome!!
Alright... Gonna end my crap for now... Resting time... No coffee for tonight!! I need sleep...

Its Time...
Alot of things have happened and I guess, I understand quite a couple of things to snap me back into the real world and be more firm with myself while doing things. I'm not trying to implement that I'm getting matured in a week or two but it takes time to do so. Well, let me start to roll the dice then, starting with my work and then to academic stuff.
Being a lifeguard doesnt mean that you get easy money all the time. Last friday was a tricky moment, with Lawrence, a senior lifeguard, giving me a CPR test. The first time I did it was quite alright but timing wise, I was not fast enough. The second attempt was much better but I missed one compression and created 12 incomplete release. There's good and bad with the two tests but I managed to pass it somehow.
Nothing was bad that day. I still get to meet a new friend, who's from Canberra Secondary. Cool! I mean, its a small world after all to get to know people from your secondary school working with you in the same organization. It makes me realised that I wont be bored so easily and there's alot of things that are common between us. For instance, our school life as well as our favourite sport and club; Soccer and Manchester United. Nice to meet you friend, Arwin...
Academic stuff is gonna be a blast. I'm into TEP, also known as Teaching Enterprise Project. I'm in the Bodywatch SPT, which is to come out with projects and participate in various events. Anyway, I guess its got to be enjoyable as I get to work with Kenny once again whereas for Andy, he's being posted to the gym. Well, life is just like that and there's nothing we can do but to move on and face it.
This time round, I must make sure that I will be serious with my work, as well as coming to school on time. For the past semester, lateness is my major problem and I wont let it happen again. Let me start from the basics I guess. What's great about this attachment is that I gonna be one of the people in-charged of AWWA, sort of a old folks home for aged women. Tomorrow would be the day for me to see what the other batch has done and learn some stuff that we could do to help these elderly. Interesting isnt it. However, I'm getting a scare from the previous batch as they said some aunties would only do what the guys do but not what the gals would do. This means... guys... we are in big deep trouble... LOL!!
Well, nothing much for now but I just want to type about today's soccer game. First of all, my apologies to the gang, Jeremy and Andy, for coming late. I expect myself to be there latest by 8.15pm but ended up to be there at 9pm. I was busy with some personal stuff and it turned out to be a long one. Haha...
Anyway, I managed to score a goal in the first game, and hit the stupid post during the second. The first goal was just only the starter, which I guess I was geared up. With Jack infront of me, I pushed the ball to the left side and place my shot, which Jimmy could not save it in time. I guess it was quite lucky, also because of the blocked view from Jack that led to the goal. I dont know but again, this goal is not for me but for someone else. This is for you, [ E ]'s Dad... Bidding goodbye to you...
Well, last week's goals are for [ KL ]'s Dad and now, [ E ]'s Dad... I'm not a superstitious person but I guess, Lord has taken you to be by his side. While you are away, I know that you will bless your family... Well, goodbye again and for [KL ] and [ E ], take it easy... As I have typed in my MSN before,
'Goals can make one to feel good but it wont amend the broken heart that one has suffered'. Thus, live your life to the fullest and remember, a smile is the best remedy no matter what happens. Most importantly, cherish everything you have now... That's part of a human's piority... I think...
That's all for now... Tomorrow's a new day for me and I wont gonna be late... Never!! :D

Random...
I dont think I gonna type too much crap here. Anyway, last night I was having soccer with the gang. Its been quite some time since I touched the ball. However, I didnt played that well due to the shoes I'm wearing. I'm getting cuts and blisters on my foot and it hurts quite alot.
Anyway, just to type out some stuff before I end the entry for today:
- Jia Long scored a goal... That will be added in the Goal Tally...
- Jeremy was the saviour for the last game, with 2 goals under his name.
- Kian Wee was the 'best' keeper. He saved the shots, as well as listening to music and eating lollipop at the same time. -.-"Yeah! That's all. I did managed to score a few goals but I really dont care if it adds on to the Goal Tally board or not. I dont even care how many goals I could score last night. Although I tried but I still failed. What matters most is I tried my very best to play hard and win hard.
Although goals never help a person to live longer but I guess the goals I scored will delicate to a person who should be regarded as a mentor of mine. Although goals cannot be compared to how deep the love is between two souls, at least, let me do something to show my sincierty for them. The injuries I got could not be compared to a person's lost. As wounds can be healed but a broken heart is never be filled.
Well, farewell to a friend that I didnt know but all I could tell him is... these goals are for you... I've tried...

Les Voix Concert Camp
I'm finally back from my camp in NYP and I'm still feeling exhausted after a day's rest. I dont know why but maye I'm still not catching enough sleep. My voice is quite hoarse but it should be fine in a few days, with plenty of water and sleep to be needed.
Day 1
I met Cai Yun in the morning to go to NYP in the early morning. We had to do the preparations for the camp so all committee members must be there by 7.30am. Actually, no one had a good sleep the night before. Some were busy packing while some, are too excited for the camp that they could not sleep. Haha... Well, once I reached school, I realised that I forgot to bring something along; money. I did bring a few dollars but imagine having $2.50 to survive for a 3 days camp, its like I'm depending on grass for my daily meals. -.-"
Well, the camp started and Ben, as the Camp I/C, briefed every one about the rules of the camp and we started with some ice-breakers. I was in-charged for the games with Yi Tian so everything went smoothly and soon, it was time for practice. We were going through the entire 1st half of the concert with the choral pieces. Once we've completed it, it was lunch.
Mr Ong's practice was next and by then, I was feeling very tired. Once 4pm strikes and Mr Ong decided to drill on the small group singing, most of the gals went to 'lalaland' straight away. I was in the boys bunk with Kah Hong, Shuai Xun and Cai Yun and we were using the lappy. Well, kah Hong thought me a trick for breakdancing and I tried several times before I finally succeed. It seems like I was going to break my bones at the end of the day. Haha...
Dinner was served after that and we were back to the concert stuff but this time, its cheography planning. We learnt the dance steps for the song piece "Dubulah" and I was acting like a retard while dancing. Everyone turned to their left while I turned to the right. I was like mixing up with everything and the guys were like laughing at me. At least I managed to learn the right stuff in the end. After all the busy cheography, it was shower time before lights out. Some of the guys were hungry and we ended up eating biscuits before sleeping.
Day 2Having 7 hours of sleep is a pleasure. I woke up, washed up and went for a run at the stadium before meeting everyone to guide them in the 5BX. I had 3 rounds in the beginning and another during the 5BX. We had our breakfast soon after and we were back to business. Its time to sing again!!
During the afternoon, we had a photoshoot with Mr Ong and the picture was mend to be placed in the programme booklet I guess. ( I've forgotten =X ) Anyway, Mr Ong's friends were here to lead us in our singing techniques. Mr Goh; one of the great tenors in the group 'The Singers' was taking the guys. There's quite a few stuff that I've learnt so far and I'm trying to implement it in my singing.
Actually, there's various exercises that we had learnt and its quite good with our singing ability. For instance, singing with your body positioned at half squats or singing in a sit-up position. Although its hard to do it, it was a great way to train your diaphragm and also, reaching the high notes efficiently. Moreover, in order to sing the choral songs well, one must understand what story it is trying to show in the music scores. For instance, "Shall I Compare Thee" is trying to illustrate a story of an Italian love romance and when one sings, his voice must be lecherous as well as showing the gal he loved, how much is she to him. Cool isnt it??!!
Anyway, once the workshop was over, we had games; Twister and Bomberman. Matthais was the lucky guy, who didnt move much during Twister. The committee was trying to eliminate him but failed to do so. I think its fate that makes him to be the longest person staying in the mat. Haha... Nice one!!
After that, it was Bomberman and everyone was participating and enjoying themselves. I was too tired at that moment that I didnt join the game, until it was the last round. The reason for that is simple; I went to run around the stadium again. I had a round with Ping Ding then after that, 3 rounds with her but I manged to continue another 2 rounds. In the end, I had my last round for the day before having my shower. Overall, 11 rounds for the day. HAHA!!
While everyone was alseep, only the committee members were still busy chatting. We were discussing about alot of things in the Piano room and by then, it was like 1am before we head for shower??!! Everyone was tired but we still have many things to do. Once shower was done, we still went back to chat but this time, its not about concert stuff. It was leisure chat untill 4am in the morning. I slept at 4.35am as I was listening to the radio between Man Utd and Roma. In the end, Man Utd won the game with a Wayne Rooney strike. Haha... We are 6 points up!!
Day 3Rise and shine for everyone but the committee members were still in their sleep when the time was 8.10am in the morning. I was having problems with my voice as it feels quite sore and I cant sing the high notes that day. No choice but to sing, as a form of practise.
Well, everyone packed their stuff before practice and we had sang all the 2nd half songs for that 2 hours of learning. I was struggling all day long. Anguished with myself for having such a voice at that period of time. I could not hit the high notes and the highest I could go was a B flat!! Haix... I was quite demoralised and keep cursing at myself.
In the end, I used the method we had learnt the day before in Mr Goh's workshop, by doing a half squat and sang 'Seasons of Love'. I need to do it since I could not hit the high notes and Pauline and the rest of the Altos need to hear Shuai Xun and me out to get the right pitch of the song. I manged to hit the high notes in the end but had stomach cramps after doing too much. Haha... At least now I know the techniques and know when to use it, I guess it isnt a big problem at all for me to hit it now. That's a great lesson to learn.
Debrief was done after the practice and once its over, the concert camp came to an end. We had photos taken before we left. Everyone was tired but still, the committee needs to pack the remaining stuff such as fans and electric keyboard. I ended up sleeping in the clubroom while everyone are busy. Haha.. Sorry for that but I was quite tired.
Seriously, the camp was fun but I'm always the target. I was wearing this 'No Sweat!' T-shirt and the guys were like telling me the same phrase. Anything that happens, "No sweat!" My gosh!! Haha.. I was fun and I'm okay with it. Just that it has been going on for the entire camp and guess what, when Shuai Xun wants to post the pictures online and the password for the pictures was 'nosweat'. Oh no, not again!! I guess next time I will not wear that shirt to V.E. and maybe, getting another shirt named 'Sweating!!' Haha.. Kidding...
Gosh!! Camp ended so fast and the concert is 1 month's time. Hope everyone will buck up and memorise their scores. Let's sing well and make a great performance for this Les Voix Concert!! Yeah!! But lets hope I dont get another nightmare like last night, dreaming of Shuai Xun giving sectionals... Wow, that's scary.. LOL!!
