The Rainbow Connection...
Well, its not about a song that is sang by some singer but I just use this as a title for my entry. These days, the weather hasnt been that good. You can see the sky being bright but a few minutes later, it turned dark and gloomy and next up, rain started pouring down like no one's business. Gosh!!
I actually have the feeling of blogging this post now as I realised some stuff while working. I was getting quite bored as the sky darkens and when I was asked to clear the pool, it started to pour. Raining cats and dogs didnt add in the atmosphere as thunder and lightning spice up the whole scene. All I can say that I watched the whole situation; from the first drop of rain touching the floor till it ends. From the flashes of lightning to the end of the whole 'show'; rainbow, it seems that its telling me a story.
Although the whole story takes an hour to complete, it tells me that no matter how good or bad life is, one must continue to work hard to get what you want to achieve in life. Just like the weather, the harder it rain, the more chances you get to see the rainbow (that's commonly known by many that a storm will cause a rainbow to occur...) in the sky. Hence, the rain, thunder and lightning didnt give up, showing people that hope is always there and the BIG rainbow will show up no matter what.
Anyway, today's rainbow is beautiful. I was really BIG and I love it!! The beauty of nature will never be replace by any mankind's works. Although science plays a part of it, no human can create such a scene in real life. Too bad, working in the pool does not mean that handphones can be used. Otherwise, I will take a few snaps of that beautiful rainbow.
Another thing I realised was the lightning. I always fantasied the wonderful displays of lightning in the sky. It can be beautiful yet dangerous. One strike that hits you and you will be walking to heaven the next. Haha... Well, ever watch fireworks display?? If you do, I guess lightning is nothing you should scared of. I remembered Auntie Emily covered her ears once she saw a big flash of lightning striking. Actually, one can treat it as a fireworks display. The mighty bolts could kill but like fireworks, it flashes and the sound "BOOM!" will come out.
In conclusion, its all in the mind. Those who are fear of lightning should give it a try, watch a thunderstorm and treat it as a fireworks display. It can be weird but interesting too. The beauty of nature captures your eyes, and your phobia will be tested. Be brave, to those who are fear of lightning and thunder... =]
