Fall of the Red gladiators... Wounded but determined...

After today, soccer would be a very different thing to me... This morning's match against the Hougang people... Haix... We lost 7-2 to them. Funny right?? Haha... We might be just out of luck or we can say that we really didnt put our hearts in the match... It depends on the reasons that I stated here but the prob is still... we lost the match. A pathetic 7-2 scoresheet. That was what we got in Punggol... We didnt even train for more than 3 weeks and yet we still went for the match. I really dont know nowadays soccer is what. A noble art for all people but yet people wanted to get this kind of skills without practising. Each time I asked if anyone would like to play soccer, the replies are "tired... sian... next time..." No wonder we didnt did well today. Say we were unlucky... BLAH!! What the crap is that... The team was not a fit team at all... Everyone was busy with work and lack of match practise... Typing this makes my blood boil... What the...

Early the morning, I went to AMK to get the boots from Eric. I went to AMK with my Mum since she worked nearby Eric's house... Anyway, I was late meeting Jimmy, Amirul, and Jonathan.. Haix... When we reached Woodlands MRT station, Eugene, Szaywan and Jack were there... The rest... Haix... Missing... We waited for nearly 45 minutes yet Hakim and Fidaus have not come yet... Since we were late, we took a cab to Punggol instead. Although we reached Punggol around 10 plus, Hakim and Fidaus was on the way... They reached the place around 11 plus... What the... Everyone waited for them... By the way, Haikal was not there as he had something on in school... What the... He told me that he would come but it turned out to be a crap. Never mind bout that... Problems start to arose when we reached the venue.

Everyone got ready for the match and when we want to start playing, this guy came and asked if we got permit or not... Dotz... So they mean that the field could not be used unless it's officially booked??!!! Alright.. I understand what they mean. I have been to that field before for 2 times.. Both times were for the trial... Since we could not use the field, we went to a nearby field instead... At that field, there's no posts... nothing... Just a patch of wet grass that's all... We took nearly half an hour to reach that plain field... It really kills me with the scorching sun glaring its light at me.. We got ready by putting the shoe bags as goal post and corner kicks... We start the match eventually...

1st half... We were down 3-1... we scored first but after that, our defense got cock-up... No one was defending... even me... I was too tired to run since I was the first one to be on the field among the rest of my teammates... I did try to defend but still, not that good at all. Their strikes are very lucky... Some hitting us while some... lucky shots... Not trying to say that we are a strong team but they were in a advantage. In our area... the grass was suck. Its really wet and it was like a mini flood at your bathroom. The ball would be on the ground next to you even if you whack the ball as hard as you could. That was why they were able to score... Once we tried to clear the ball, the ball would just stay at there... letting our opponents to have the opportunity to strike... As 1st half end... Jimmy and Jack told me what I should do... Seriously, I wasnt that happy at all, especially Jack's lecture... Why I say that?? Easy... He wasted too much time.. Instead of crossing the ball, he hold on the ball... too long... To him it might not be long but to me, IT IS LONG...

2nd half.. The team's spirit seemed to be getting better... in the end, getting better in the concede of goals... I know Sion and the rest knew that I treat this game very seriously... However, they still played it in a relax way... probably it's because of the goals that we could not catch up at all. After they struck another ball into our post, everyone started to relax... What the... We should not give up at all right?? Alex got the opportunity to strike but he decide to do Samba dance... What the... I agree that it's funny but what we were lacking then were the goals.. not the dance moves... Haix... I really feel like banging my head now... Anyway... That wasnt the end... Our players got injuried... One by one... First was Anan, then Jimmy and lastly... me... Holly gosh... Why me?? Injuried... Anan should have a cramp at the muscle... while Jimmy ah da cramp at his tighs... Mine?? More serious than the rest... Both of my legs were having cramps... It was not long that I pulled my muscle on my left foot... The whole tigh was in pain but I still continue to play on... I keep bearing the pain for more than 15 minutes or so... Each strike I took on the ball, it would be like a bee had stung my muscle... The whole leg got dead at last when I tried to bend it... It was just jammed... with my foot turning slightly towards the right... I was totally yelling in pain on the ground... Luckily the rest helped me and thanks to Fiadus, carrying me to the side of the pitch to recieve treatment from Jonathan... Haix... I really could not move by then but after asking Jonathan how many minutes left, I changed my mind and continued to play the game, even if it cost me to lose both of my legs for the next few days or weeks... I got one scoring opportunity but I missed it... Haix... What the... Hate it when its time to shine yet my muscles are tight...

That was how we lost the game with 7-2... Furthemore, since we changed sides of the pitch, their side was still in advantage as now the water had dried up and they were using mud to be the stopper for our ball. The ball wont travel on mud as its too hard to do so. While on our ground, it was dry... That was why they could attack us no matter what. Plus the injuries that our players had... It's hard to make sure that we could win the match after all..

Looking at today's performance, I think I wasnt doing my best at all... Thanks to the injuries, right now I have difficulty walking... What I need more is rest... That would be the key solution for quick recovery... I hate myself for not only not performing well but not putting much effort on the team. As the right back, I kept going upwards... what a 'Gary Neville' I'm... My promise to Charissa did failed after all... I have no means to make a promise... Haix... Although Sion told me to play the match on my way, I really tried but quite hard... Thanks Sion.. your encouraging words really make me feel better... I thnk defence is not my best... Attacking is... Just like Szaywan said to me during the past. My speed could be a good thing after all... After today's match... Soccer... What is soccer to me?? I know that losing is part of the game but why cant anyone want to be serious... All the talking and crapping... I will remember that Hakim asked me if I had cramps and he said serve you right... I really want to show him what the hell I could boost the team but still unsuccessful... Cramps... Muscle pulls... I hate it... cant do the stuff I learnt during the clips of Cristiano Ronaldo... I did some but that caused me to have the cramps... especially the Cryuff Turn... Haix... I think I must train my stamina now... Run more after my leg fully healed... train my shootings more and most of all... Skills... That's what I'm going to prove to the rest...

Man Utd also lost against Chelsea... Seeing Jack's delight face makes me feel that Chelsea is none other than a pathetic team... A team which used money to buy good players... While for Man Utd, a true spirit of fighting and winning the matches they had. Chelsea did use money to buy their way to the trophy but they didnt do it fairly... Just look at Man Utd... They allow youngsters to play, making sure everyone did contribute to the winning or losing of a match.. Chelsea just let their youngsters become useless... Making sure that youngsters of this age are not talented at all.. It's just that these youngsters have not show their potential... I dont really know how Chelsea had their training but one thing everyone knows... They are Champs for this year's title.. but they could be sore losers of the year... Jack.. Chelsea supporter for life??? Well, just because they're winning that's why... I wonder what if Chelsea keep losing in the next few years... I think he lost his respect to Chelsea in the end.. but not me... A true United fan.. A true couraged and determined man...

Right now, I'm really tired... Sick of soccer currently... I just feel that my team sucks for today... Thats all... All the crap that I had been typing.. Haix... You all could treat this as a cock and bull story but to me, its a lesson that I had learnt.. and making sure that I must improve... in order to win the rest... No matter what happens... I would still be the Gary Neville that I had promised myself... and the Cristano Ronaldo that skills would come upon... To play soccer in my way... Thats a true meaning of soccer in me... from now on... Thats why... the Reds might fall but they would still stand up and be determined enough to fight... even if their wounds hurt...
