Sorry people, I just come back from my V.E. Camp... Although I'm still quite tired now, indeed but I try to crap a bit here and there. Since it has been like 3 days without touching my computer, I finally get the hang of it now, typing in fast pace but definitely there would be errors in my post. As usual, spelling mistakes... and many more... Haha... Alright, I didnt have the time to compose any songs during the camp but I enjoyed the camp. I was too tired to compose any songs and worst of all, I need to rest in order to make sure I dont lost my voive. Why I say that, I will explain everything later...

First day of the camp... In the morning, I did finally... that's personal matter for me... I did finally recieved her message. However, as what I have said, just treat this camp as a holiday camp. I didnt message her at all. Why? It's because it's in the morning 7am and I dont want to disturb anyone such an early morning. Furthermore, I had not pack my things yet. I did prepare it but I didnt put them into my bag pack. Moreover, I was late while meeting Hong, so I was like rushing... without eating my breakfast at all... After packing, I rush to the MRt station and met Hong. We reached NYP around 8.30am and I went into the V.E. room first since Hong need to do some 'business'... hehe... Understand what I mean right?? -.-"

Anyway, as I went to the room, I saw Derrick, my senior from V.E.. They checked my attendance and after that, I entered into the room to place my belongings. The seniors were asking me why I bring so many bags... like around 3 to 4 bags... What the... Part of them are mine while the rest are Hong's... Haha... After explaining, I placed my things and sat down on the chair. Motionless... look so dead as like I'm a statue. I just sat down, wait for Hong's return... By the way, I was so hungry at that time that once Hong returned to the room, I went to hunt for food... Haha... Empty stomach... That's a bad thing for a camper... Luckily, my seniors allow me to eat a bun to give me the spare energy for the games later... Cool!!!

I was in Group 2 while Hong was in Group 3. I do feel a bit isolated, or should I say I feel bored, since I'm new in that group. Furthermore, I was that kind of person who is so shy. I dont really talk to people and I'm bad at socialising. Seriously, the rest were like quite alright. We start the games session by a game of 'Whacko'. Guess what... I was whacked for 2 times. I couldnt get the names correctly and my mind was working very slowly... probably it's because I have not eaten a hearty breakfast... hehe... When someone called my name... I was like... 'Er... Er... Er....' That's was like I was too late... then I was whacked... What the... Shock... Stunned... Nothing to say... Haha...

After that, we have another game at the stadium. It's like a blindfolded game, which your member would be at the far end of the stadium and what you need to do is to shout to them, giving them instructions and get them back to your team. Our team got second... not bad.. After the short games, it was time for training. The boys would go to a room to train their vocals while the gals would be at another room to that. Training for 2 hours... That's how we started. Tough training for me since I have skipped some V.E. sessions... Poor me, I have problems projecting my voice and singing the song... In the end, we ended early and we continue to have advance practises. Derrick was the one conducting us, since he was a coordinator for the V.E..

Lunch was served at 12 plus, just for us. The gals had not complete their vocal sessions... After that, we have... games... and then, more games... First activity... We need to give our group name and create a flag. Our team created a flag and we called ourselves 'Solo'. on the flag, there would be the wording 'Solo' and our names... with some musical notes on it. After that, we decide on our cheer. A very simple cheer... As you see, we wanted a simple, sweet, short cheer, so that everyone could remember. In the end, we come out with this cheer:

Super, that's what we are...

Solo, we are Solo 'Gia'!!

That was a cool cheer... for me personally. After that, we get to know each other well. I realised that most of the V.E. members are from the Nursing course. Most of them are gals, that's why. In my group, Cherry and Jasmine are in th Nursing course. While for Paul and Ping Ling, they are from different courses. I'm not so sure about their courses since my class was not near to their block. Sorry people, I didnt mean to forget your courses but Nursing was my good 'brother', Hong's course... that's why I know alot of things... hehe... Anyway, things turn out to be more interesting soon... and I mean it. I will explain to you as you read on... We continue to play more games... this time, a much messy game. You need to be blindfolded, walk into traps and after you get out of the trap, you need to spin 10 rounds and take the blindfold out. You run to the container and use only your mouth to take the marshmallow out... which is covered with flour... all your members need to do it... It was challenging and I need to do it 2 times. Why? My group only has 5 people while the other group has 6. I ran both rounds... Giddy and yucky... Giddy as I spinned too fast... 2 times... I went to the wrong side after the spin. Yucky? The flour was on my nose and I think my contacts got the flour... It hurts my eye alot but after washing up, I feel much better. My team did well... We got first for that... Haha... good job Solo!!!

After that, we had more games... From guessing games such as 'Who has the longest? Shortest and Widest?' to the games of 'Guessing Code Number'... Its really cool... I dont know but I realised that my team's weakness is still decision making. I really mean it. In the game 'Guessing Code Number', our team got the most forfiets. I dont know why... We are really bad in guessing numbers. For instance, in 10 games, we got about 6 or 7 of them. Wacky forfiets such as writing your name with your butt, singing, dancing and many more. Furthemore, there's this Phantom of the Opera that we need to perform... Haha.. So hilarious... The seniors went up to the stage and gave us a 'surprise' by disturbing us... While singing, everyone started to tickle Derrick which made him landed on Cherrie... Haha...Every one was shouting 'Molest!' at him... Poor Derrick, he does his forfiet and sang 'Jia Gei Wo' to Cherrie... hehe... Nice one Derrick, I think your gal would fall for you by your romantic wedding proposal... hehe...

After that, we had our dinner and everyone was preparing for Mr Ong's lesson. We just sang the 'Odi Odi'... Sounds nice... Probably it's because the boys part is much easier... Just a few keys and that's it. Haha... While for the Auto and Supranos... They need to sing the verse out, anyway, it was a nice song... Once 9pm has reached, everyone prepared to go for the Night walk... It's like a game which you need to run with your team mates to find your leaders and get them back to the starting point. We did quite well... Roan, another senior of ours, was the first to be found... I saw her leg sticking out and she was like hiding... Haha... Poor gal... After that, we found Jesyln and followed by Yvonne. We finally got all our leaders and we ran abck to the starting point. We were second in the game but our team spirit was very good. Jasmine and Ping Ling wouldnt give up so easily on their runs, even if they have a weak stamina. I understand that since gals have a weaker stamina than guys... or maybe not?? Haha... Anyway, after the game, it was time to wash up and take our nap. Derrick told the guys that we should bath at the Boys toilet at our own risk. Not saying that we would see any ghost or what but there is cockroaches in the loo... That really scare us for sure... Luckily, I didnt see one on the first night... Phew... Hong was in the toilet shouting so loud... Making a lot of nice, just to make those people outside the toilet to laugh... 'Help Nicholas HELP!!! 'Xiao Qiang' (cockroach)... ' Haha... That was funny...

After that, we went to have our supper. The boys were feasting in the bunk with all the food, considered as leftovers since there are chicken rice packets. We keep disturbing Derrick, telling him that it's so curel to eta his brothers and sisters (the chicken). Why? Derrick is known as 'Chicken Little', that's why... Once supper was over, everyone went to sleep... Hong and I were 'smart' since we decide to sleep early, we slept in front of the fan. everyone who entered the bunk saw us sleeping would say 'Wow... These 2 guys sleep so shiok sia!!!' Haha... Anyway, we shared the fan in the end. Slept at 1.45 that day... After that... KNOCK OUT!! Will continue my story in the next post... That's day 2... hehe... Tired...
