Save the Best for the Last
There's this phrase if you ever heard it before if I'm not wrong, 'Save the best for the last'. I realised that each time the gang played soccer, the last match would be the longest match. It seems that there would be a huge boost in our determination to win the game, especially the last match. For the past two days, Jack and I have been playing soccer during the night. Normally, we would go to Sembawang to play soccer with the rest but not for this week. Bad weather prevent the game from commencing. Haha...
Anyway, on Saturday morning, we end the game at around 2.40am. We actually stopped the game very soon but the thing is that we started to enjoy the game. We started to play with strangers in a 3 on 3 match and soon, it turn out to be 4 on 4 match with more teams to play. It was absolutely fun. jack did score a few amazing goals and I asked him to score a goal in a zigzag manner... Imagine Jack could do that, he would be the next Singapore footnballer to represent Nike or Adidas. While playing, many incidents occured... Our handphones flying after the ball hit it... The ball went into Woodgrove Secondary... Many did lots of tricks to get pass their opponents... Blah and blah and blah...
As I say, the last match was a good one. We keep winning and I did some 'stupid' trick to the goalie. Back heel kick... Stepovers... What's the best? The passing and positioning of all players are so stable that we are able to score a few good goals. Jack was able to dribble pass 2 to 3 people before slotting the ball into the opponent's net. Haha... Well, I did that once but was a very lucky chance. I was actually trying to get my ballance as I nearly slipped onto the floor. However, I still manage to put the ball into the net, so it doesnt matter. We did have a 'Speed Demon' in our team too... He's fast, quick footsteps, able to organise the team and breaking opponent's defence. That is what Jack always want to do but hard to do so. The gang (Eugene and gang) always stick together and if we spread out, we will be far from the distributor of the ball. That's the problem we have.. We need space and I'm trying to improve on that, thanks to Jack's help... Lol... Not saying his my mentor or what but we do help help each other in some ways to improve our skills, passing and shooting...
About last night's match, its again the fall of the Reds.. The Reds (Liverpool) and Red Devils (Man Utd). The new goalie for Man Utd is good. He has good stuff in him. While for Rio and Wes, they can just stop thinking of playing if they keep doing that. The defence is so bad that even my mother know what to do... Haha... Kidding... Maybe I can do a better job from there... Or should I say, Jia Long could be there to clear the ball from the penalty box more successfully compared to Rio and Wes... My oh my... Man Utd... You guys better do something in order to win a trophy...
After the match, we went to play soccer and many things happened. I whack the ball onto the wrong 'ball'... Jonathan was being 'OLE' over and over again though his hands were still there, trying to grab the ball... Gavin scored a wonder goal against Jonathan... Kian Wee was able to do some tricks and score the goal... Wow... Think about it again, why did we end the game so early. Man!!! It's no life at all... we play less than an hour... Nice one... Haix... Maybe they should consider to come to Woodlands instead of playing in Sembawang.. Yeah... That would be an ideal suggestion to the gang... Haha...
By the way, who's booking the chalet??? What the... Take so long... (That's for December... )
