Injuries.... Doubt I'm able to play for next 2 weeks...
Soccer... A game that requires skill, speed, teamwork and most of all, luck. If you dont have luck, even with the skill, speed, teamwork and intelligience within you, you still wont do well such as scoring or defending. Well, I have been playing soccer for the past 2 days and I can see that today isnt my luck... or maybe not...
Friday's soccer was quite fun. I get to whack some balls into the net for a few times. I dont have the skill but I have the speed. That's what I'm talking about. Haha... Jack wasnt that lucky, hitting the woodwork for a few times. He did score but not as much as he wants. One occasion was that he hit the left pole and the ball roll to the right pole and out of the goal post. This means 'No Goal!!' Now that's strike One. Now here's strike Two!! he whacked the ball and it hit my leg but it went to the woodwork and went out of the goalpost AGAIN!! Strike Three??? Hum... There isnt any strike 3 but you can say.. How many times did he whack the woodwork, especially while we are training with each other on freekicks... LOL!!
While for me, I played like a crazy man who just know how to play soccer. Once, I tried to push the ball with my left foot and whack it with my right. I end up falling onto the floor, without touching the ball at all. Haha... Maybe I'm too fast or careless but Jack says I'm too anxious. I dont feel so as I'm trying to shoot it but sometimes, the legs wont obey much.
Today's soccer make me ponder what has happen to the team's defence. The first match was Jia Long, Sion and Jimmy in my group. We lost 3-1 and I was not in the mood to play after that. I keep thinking what has caused us to lose. Is it because we have not enough passing? Our positions are wrong? Our playing style is wrong?? I still trying to figure out now. Jia Long was doing well but Sion wasnt there to support. However, Sion was consider the main rock of our defence so it's hard to judge by what he's doing. Jimmy is needed as the goalie... Haix... Maybe we used the wrong type of playing... I dont know... That isnt the bad part...
The worst part!!! I twisted my ankle. I can hear the whole cracking sound on my ankle. Its starts with me trying to get pass Kian Wee but he did intercept the ball. I tried to let my foot to land on the ground but the ball was there so I stepped on it and there goes my ankle. The whole ankle made a twist, which is 360 degress turn... AR!!! That's what I shouted and fall onto the ground, moving abck and forth. (What else can I do?? Dance??? LOL!!) Now, my ankle is swollen and I have a hard time walking. Hope its just like what happen to Jimmy 2 years ago, which swollen for 2 weeks and its alright after that. Pain??!! Yeah!! However, I still want to play on. We restarted the game after a long rest while I'm injuried.
I still managed to run abit though it still hurts or should I say, it hurts like hell??!! I still manage to whack 2 balls into the goal. The first was lucky, thanks to Eugene. I whacked the ball but went to another direction. It hit Eugene's leg and deflect into the goal. By the way, Eugene, I didnt mean to be so sarcastic... Pai se... I just dont want to start another ramming ball session since I'm injuried that's why... The second goal was a left foot shot... (I DID forget to mention to you that... the injuried ankle was on my left foot... hehehe...) I got the ball, use my right foot to push it to my left foor and I whacked it. Nice goal... Haha... However, still the effect was there so I had to hop around like a handicap frog.
Right now, I can feel the pain on my ankle. Swollen and it hurts like hell. Hope it will heal soon. Tomorrow will be a suffering for me. It will be definitely hard for me, especially to jump around and run about. I can run but jog only, short distance... Resting now... Pray hard its not a fracture nor a dislocated ankle. It will be months for me to recover if that happens... May God bless me even though I dont pray to them that often... Hehe...
