NYP Open House...
Sorry people... I didnt have the time to update my blog since I was busy with my projects. Yes! Mircroeconomics and Principles of Management projects have come to an end! Today was the last project of the week and I had enough with these 2 projects for the past few weeks. I was so worried about today's P.O.M. presentation that I didnt have a good sleep last night. Haix.. However, its good that all the project stuff has come to an end. What a relief!!
Anyway, I just start with what happened in NYP last week. Yeah! Since I was hoping to blog about the Open House in NYP like last week but fail to do so. Anyway, Open House was a good thing for SBM students. We have our holidays at that time, or should I say, we have the privilage of having off days for the 2 days since we are heavily involved in the Open House. While for those who are not helping out, at least they have the time to complete their projects on time. While for me, I need to help out in V.E.. I was late on Thursday, the first day of Open House for V.E. as Ming Zhao and I had a hard time meeting each other. I was ready to go out but when I called his phone, he said he's eating breakfast. What the... Never mind. So I went to school and we warm ourselves up before entering the stage for performance. After the performance, I was really tired and bored. I went to the Free Access Lab after my meal and did my project.
I wanted to leave the school but I need to wait for that retarded Jeremy, since he wanted to go back to Canberra to do some stuff. I waited till 1 plus and Christina messaged me that they are in NYP. Great!! I went to find them and followed them for awhile. However, I just act like a pure geek, knowing nothing at all and followed them. I keep telling Chris that I'm just a private student, so that period of time, I would reply back to you, 'What's NYP??' LOL!! After that, I went back to the lab to do my task and soon, I need to leave as Jeremy was waiting for me. I told him that we could try taking the school transport back to Sembawang but he didnt want to... He was feeling shy... Zzzz... In the end, we went back to Canberra by train. Haha... After we did our stuff till 8 plus, we went back home. During the process, two crazy people trying to hang each other with Nee Ann Polytechnic caps, which are Diana and Alvin. Haha... Poor Diana... She's being bullied by Alvin all the time.
Well, the next day, that was also considered the worst day of my life. I was late for V.E. again. This time, I have no jeans to wear. I actually found one and I decided to wear it. However, I realised that the zip was stuck. I tried pulling it for nearly 5 minutes and still, I couldnt pull it. With the cursing I had did after that, I decided to wear my Mum's jeans as my size is similar to hers. I wore it but regret it. I hate tight jeans and her's is really TIGHT!! I end up wearing my Uncle's jeans to school.
Never mind about it, thinking that it was over, I was warming up my vocals when my phone dropped to my shoes, inside the jeans. Thinking that there's a hole in the pocket, I tried to put my hand in. 'ZAP!!' I think I use too much force and end up having a bigger hole in my pocket. What the... I was sian 3/4 by then and end up putting my phone at the other pocket, which was quite uncomfortable. After the singing, I went to the nearest betting shop to buy a ticket for the match in Kallang. I was dying under the hot weather conditions and when I asked the auntie if there's anymore tickets, she said 'SOLD OUT!' AH!!! I never expect that to happen... So suay (unlucky)...
I walked back to school and decided to do my project, which ended around 5 plus. I rushed back home, had my shower and rushed back to school for Band as they were heading to S.C.H., which I thought was Singapore Concert Hall but turn out to be Singapore Conference Hall. Yikes... That's my poor memory. We were late to the venue as there's a heavy traffic jam with bad weather conditions. We only had 45 minutes to practise in the end. That cost us about $400 to book the hall for an hour and half. After that, we went back to Canberra. The bus of ours nearly met an accident as the motorist in front of us was nearly crushed by our bus if we are moving at a fast speed. What's worst was that she was stunned after turning back to see a big bus behind her. She was trying to lift the bike up but too shock to have the strength to do that. That's bad... We reached back school around 11 plus and after my meal with Fikri and Chris, we went back home. By then, I was really exhausted as there is still events the next day.
Swimming at 7.30am at Yio Chu Kang on that Saturday was a good one. It was the first time meeting Pauline, Pu Ding and Cai Yun for swimming. We end up late for V.E. and I was so tired by then. While walking towards the stage, I was closing my eyes, using one arm to hold onto kah Hong's shoulder and walked. Like a dead zombie indeed. After the singing, we went back to the room, with me doing the same actions, walking back. Haix... I guess I was really tired. After the practise, I went to the National stadium to buy the tickets for myself and friends to watch the soccer match... Haix... Tired as usual... That's what I had to do since I have a tiring Open House on Saturday... Haha...
Anyway, back to the tickets, I reached National Stadiuma round 2pm and its a relief to see such a small queue. I got the 4 tickets and went back home by taking a bus back to Yio Chu Kang. It took me an hour or so to reach to the North area and I was sleeping in the bus all the while. Once I reached Yio Chu Kang, I went home to rest for an hour and went to meet my friends. Glenn, Oliver and Aloy. These 3 are my friends but yet known as kids to me. Sorry to say that but its true. Haha... It was their first time watching a match in the stadium so it was a good experience for them. Once we found our seats in the stadium, everyone started the Kallang Wave and cheers. As usual, boos could be heard and we just follow. Monkey see, monkey do. When it was penalties and Singapore won, Glenn was so happy that he keep hugging me, carrying me up and down while I'm fliming the whole incident on my handphone. Diao... What the...
We end up taking Oliver's dad's car back since there's no more trains and buses that could bring us back to the North. However, Eugene and I alighted at Yishun MRT station and we went to buy our 'lunch' before heading back home. NASI LEMAK!!! Yes!!! Yet, we seperated ways when we reached the junction. I wanted to continue my path but I met some obstacles. Just a glance in front and I saw a huge dog. ZZz... Its staring and me and all I did was back off. I dont want to reach home within 30 minutes of running with my slippers. Thus, I used another route but end up feeling more frightened. The place was eerie enough to scare the wits out of you. Moreover, I think I was scared as I wasnt listening to my music. Haix... Without music, I couldnt do things very smoothly. Soon, I was at the midway of Ave 12 and rain started to pour heavily. I was drenched, totally drenched. Under the rain and huge winds for at least 1/2 hour, no wonder I got a flu the next day. Sick and tired. Now I know what's the exact way to use this phrase... Haha...
Well, Open House can be tiring but watching Singapore defeat Malaysia is a good show. I realised that my love towards the S-League has grown. Haha... Amazing... Stopping here now. Since I'm meeting Eugene at Kallang at 5.30 for the Finals!!! Singapore Singapore GO!GO!GO!
