Summary of Events...
I'm too lazy to blog but I just provide some brief summary of the things happened these days.
Jimmy's Birthday Bash:I dont mean that we need to bash him up since its his birthday but I hope Jimmy enjoyed himself that day. We met up at 12 plus at Sembawang but I was late so the gang went to cathay first to book the tickets. However, while I was boarding the train towards the city, I saw the gang at Yio Chu Kang, waiting for Yun Ting. I end up meeting them in Ang Mo Kio instead. By the way, we had bought gifts for Jimmy, which consist of 4 items; a bag, shirt, bermudas and an Arsenal Size 1 ball. Haha... Hope he likes it. Although Henry is not in Arsenal anymore, Jimmy will still be our team's number 14, our very own Henry.
Everyone was wearing formal, just like we had planned the day before. It's just surprisely weird as everyone was wearing either black or white. Hence, we walked in a cluster in the streets, which seems like we are the 'Black and White' gang. Anyway, we went for the movies, watching "Transformers". It took some time for the gang to decide what movie to watch as Raymond had watched it earlier. We ended up sticking to the same decision and yet, no one regrets it.
The movie was fantastic. Nice graphics and sound. What matters most is that the robots and humans blended well together. You wont feel that the robots are really animations. No wonder with Spilberg's around, there's no such thing as a artificial looking movie. Maybe that's why he gets to win lots of major awards??!! Once the movie was over, I had to rush to Yishun for my swimming training. The guys went to enjoy themselves in Esplanade while I was learning how to do CPR. What the... So sorry about it guys, I wish I could skip my training but I couldnt. Maybe next time we could have a longer outing with each other.
First Lifeguard Job:Finally, it is my 1st job to be a lifeguard in the swimming pool. I was excited but tired since I was not having enough sleep for the past one week. Anyway, I reached the pool at 2.30pm and had to change my attire. Once I changed, I was told to take charge of the baby pool in Yishun Swimming Complex. Luckily, there isnt much rules to know or else I would be easily confused.
Well, half an hour past and I felt sleepy. No choice. I dont think I have the strength to look after a few people in the pool. I was really getting bored and I wanted to take a dip in the water. It is really a boring job I guess. Even the guy, who is known as Peter, the person-in-charge for the day told me that he had to face this boring job for the past 20 years in order to earn a living. I agree with that but I guess, there could be something interesting in this job. I told myself not to fall asleep during work, telling myself to be passionate. Alright, as time past, more people came to the complex for their swim.
Once 9pm strikes, it was time to end the day. Tiring but I was still happy, knowing that actually the people in Yishun Swimming Complex are friendly people. They are easy-going and I enjoyed working at there. Once I wanted to leave the complex, I saw Clarissa and gang. I dont know why they were there but they told me Sembawang was having a halt in electricity and water supply. IS IT TRUE??!! Can anyone just tell me if its true or not since its been days after I wonder if it was a fact or not. I messaged Eugene and he told me he was at home, WATCHING S-LEAGUE!!! OMG!!!
I end up having dinner with them and went back home together. Clarissa was going crazy after dinner as she was laughing non-stop while we are walking to the station, taking the train back to Sembawang. Once we alighted from the train, she was still laughing. I dont get the point why she's doing that but seriously, someone need to stop her from laughing that day. Everyone was exhausted as they had NAPFA earlier. While for me, it was a nice experience bein a lifeguard. You have the authority but ith big resposibility to take this job.
Projects and Tests:This isnt the best time to say this as I had enough with it. Projects are piling up but now its getting better. Business Finance and EFMA have been settled and all are left with Business Law, Marketing Management, Essentials of Sport & Wellness and ICT. Gosh!!! I need more time to study my Japanese too. The test was horrible as I said "Wa Ka Ri Ma Sen" aka "I dont understand" to the lecturer. Haix... I hope I could pass this module. Although its hard but I guess I would need to bear with it no matter what.
Well, I guess that's all for now. Saturday and Sunday was late nights for me. Saturday was because I walked back with Kian Wee to Sembawang while he needs the radio to listen the ghost story. Sunday was to help my friend in the Business Finance project. Luckily, I managed to catch the last train for both days. Phew!! I dont want to walk back to Woodlands every night. My body is aching and if this routine continues, I guess I would be having stress muscles and bones.
