Bad Day...
Now I really realised what kind of crap do a lifeguard get when he or she starts to have his or her duty in the Wading Pool. Yesterday was one hell of a time for me. All the weird stuff have been occuring these days and it seems that it would never stop.
For instance, 3 small gals, around 5 to 7 years, are using their water guns and spraying at me continuously. I said stop but they still continue. My shirt was wet and I really have to run for my life. What the... Dont tell me I'm expected to lie on the ground and act dead?! OMG!! I guess this is my first time I lost my authority to 3 little kids who I didnt know.
Then, this kid was climbing at the edge of the slide and it was freaking dangerous. She's only 3 years old I guess and was doing something risky. I ended up running to her with my whistle blowing to warn her actions. Haix... I really wonder what the parents are doing. Luckily nothing happens to her or else if the parent complain or my colleagues knew about it, I will be in deep trouble...
Well, I really want to add on but I dont wish to, or else I wont be a old hag who sounded so gay with all the happenings in the pool. Haha... Well, its been raining these days but I really like Friday evening. I was doing my duty and by then, hundreds of birds (I assumed) flew past the sky and it was at a very close range between me and the birds. Imagine a bunch of them flying near the pool, which means just near your height but higher by a metre or two??!! Wonderful!! No wonder they said nature is the most beautiful thing on Earth...
Right now, I'm quite tired, after having my swim at Yishun. Before that, I went to the library at Woodlands to return my book, as well as giving Chris her dinner. I know that she's there and I know she wont eat anything in order to safe money, so I brought her some food that my Mum had cooked for dinner. Meanwhile, I managed to saw Diana... We never talk at all since she's inside the study area while I'm outside. Its just a wink and thats all. Haha... I think she's treating the library as he favourite hideout for mugging?! Maybe just a small suggestion, trying bringing your sleeping bag along, it will be cool if you stay overnight... Kidding... LOL!!
During the morning, Mum's new washing machine was here. Cool! It has this impressive design and makes one ponder if its made from the outer space, fully stainless steel?!! Well, one thing I learnt today is not to assume things in your way. Secondly, try not to say something funny when your English is not at that standard yet.
The guy who serviced us with the washing machine was asking help from my Uncle and when he couldnt get him over, he asked me to call my Dad over. I took some time to realise that he was refering to my Uncle, who seemed to look old and assumed that he's my Dad. Alright... That's a small mistake.. Its okay but still, it sucks.
Then, Mum wanted to pay the person with a cheque but nice try when she said something to the guy. "Is your gal..... " Never mind about the dialogue, I shall explain here. She was asking if that guy works under this lady but instead of saying that, she said 'your gal' in a way that everyone would know the lady seems to be the guy's girlfriend or wife. OMG!! I didnt know Mum was asking that question and luckily the man didnt answered. I was laughing uncontrollably but still managed to stop after that.
Lesson: English is important. No matter what you want to say, use the right words!
Alright... Nap time... Tomorrow there's TEP. First day of the whole thing and its a new beginning I guess. Everything gonna be put aside... Seems like a barrier to me with others but... I dont care...
