After watching the performance by NYP Symphonic Orchestra, I realised that I'm missing my Band members!! I dont know why but looking at the instruments on stage and listening to the various music pieces makes me wonder how life it would be if I have joined the NYP Band...

Anyway, it was the Symphonic Orchestra's concert and was the last performance that the Band Conductor will be having. It was my first time watching a Band concert in NYP since I was here for more than 1 year. There were 6 of us; Xiu Hui, Ping Ding, Emily, Yi Tian, Shuai Xun and me. It was sure a great experience, to perform to more than a few hundreds of audience listening to the unchanted melodies playe by the Band.

Well, as the songs continued, there was one moment where the Band Conductor was told to seat down and watch a slide that the Band members have put on. Also, the Band will be playing the melody of the slides. It might sound ordinary but the slides were indeed meaningful. While looking at it, it reminds me of my Band days during my Secondary School years. I missed everyone and I really wish I could go back to the past and enjoy the days I had that time.

Once the slide show ends, the Band Conductor was in tears. I was nearly in tears too, probably too touched by the slides with the addition of the music being played. At least I tried to hold myself back, telling myself not to be such an emotional person. =]

The concert ended and I can say, it is the best performance the Band has produced. I missed lots of things now... My band members from Canberra Secondary... My Tuba... Mr Lee, my Band Conductor... The Teachers... Haix... Time flies yet its hard to go back to the past.

I still love my new life now but I will still miss everyone in the Band. As always, "One Band, One Sound, One Spirit", these are the words that will always be in my mind. Haha... For now, its time to sleep... I really missed my 'Wife', my dear Tuba... Its been 2 years and no one has ever touched you... Zzzz....
