Muddy Event...
I dont like the feeling of getting myself dirty but sometimes, its all in the mind. If you are mentally prepared, then it doesnt feel that disgusting after all. I was refering to the event that I had today, which was the Adidas Run For Love. I dont know what it is but it was for the kids from Beyond services. Anyway, my day was very bad, very very bad...
First of all, I didnt sleep well the night before, probably of Matthias's Teramisu cake, which has huge amounts of coffee in it. I tried to sleep but failed to do so and by then it was 5am, which was my duty to call Andy to wake up. I finally got a "short" nap and work up at 5.30am. Nice try... I dont feel like going for the event but too bad, that's the nature of my attachment.
I met Azirah before taking the cab down to fetch Andy and Huai Xin. What happened during the process??!! Dont mention about it. I dont feel like taking about it or else I will go moody again and start to curse around. Haha... Its just that there are some things one should understand what is punctuality, especially when someone make the initiative to give you a wake up call early in the morning and you failed to do your task. Disappointing, maybe not for you but me...
The event started with me being in-charged at the Dunking Pool, which is to get someone to sit on a plank and when someone throw the ball and hit the 'emergency' button of the plank, the person will be dunk into the water straight. I never dare to try that before but it sounds cool. However, compare to this time's senario, I wont give it a try even its for $100. The water was muddy at the mid of the event as shoes had contact with the water. Haha...
I was shouting like a mad guy and I did regretted it. First of all, the kids were really out of control. I have to shout many times to get their attention and I ended up scolding a whole bunch of them. However, the regretful part was that knowing the kids are problematic ones. Alright, it was my bad but I guess, compared to the misfortune ones, they are not really the unluckily ones in life. Haix... As I said, its all in the mind, I can think of this but people will think of that...
Once the event was over, we had to pack up and had a blister on my thumb. I guess I was removing the legs of the tables when my skin peeled off but its a small peel so nothing serious. It does hurts but all I could do is bear the pain. Once everything is done, a short washup and we head down to Junction 8 for lunch before setting home. Gosh!! That was indeed a tiring event but I still manged to go through it with all the mud on my clothes.
I agree its tiring but at least, I had my sleep just now. Haha... I'm still tired but at least, I can have a rest now after typing this post. I think I gonna type about the retreat we had in Ben's house some other day. Haha... Tired... At least I still dyed my hair today. Hope the colour works.. Zzz...
