Never Give Up!!
For the past few days during my SPT attachment, it seems that I would flare up easily. Its nothing personal but I guess, I think that everyone is not trying their best. Hmmm... I am not targeting at my teammates but its more like the people around me, whether they are closely related to me or not.
The keyword of the phrase for this post is
"Never Give Up". It does mean that it will happened only in a competition or in sports but its developed in yourself. The phrase doesnt come out of nowhere and started to target at certain groups of people only. Its for everyone to learn that nothing in this world is impossible. All you have to do is to make sure that you try your best and even if it is impossible to do so, at least your effort did shows everything that you are trying.
I do really think that if a person is tired, he or she needs to put at least some effort in the task that is given to them. I heard people saying "This wont work at all..." yet they are sitting down and doing nothing. What's worst is when people wanted something yet they didnt really have the initiative to check the stuff they want. Haix... If everything is as simple as asking and you get it immediately, then the real world should be now in Pluto.
Yesterday, I was at the TAF Club session at Temasek Primary and the kids are quite fine. It was just that one bugger who really makes me go crazy all the time. He gives up easily and never say that he would try. In games, he would say "The team will lose..." Confidence is what everyone is lacking and I guess kids nowadays should learn to be confident with their doings and be sure that they dont give up. They say the future is in their hands, TRUE! However, with the current attitude and character that people show these days... Gosh... I wonder where's future...
Not trying to criticise people or our future generations but I guess, one should learn to develop an attitude that shows "I wont quit"! I know in life it isnt easy and I always have the tendency to try. My secondary school teacher, Ms Lee, was right... I didnt notice it but she said that each time I say I would try, I did. I may not be in my best for it, at least I manage to put in some effort to make things progress. Even like giving out the flyers, I am a very shy person but yet I will try to communicate to get people to join the event. I am not a thick skin fellow and I agree, I do fail by convincing people to join. However, I told myself that I can make it. I stand up and continue whenever I fall. That should be the way...
Hence, I think everyone should develop this kind of attitude and character. Own your learning is what they say but if one does not perserve, then it does not matter at all if the person works hard or not. Anyway, this is what I have been thinking and I have no hard feelings about it. Its just that I wish to type this out to make myself better. As I always tell myself, I will never give up... If we believe we can win, we will sure win the game, our battle... :D
