Since I have some time now, I will type about the V.E. Retreat that we had at Ben's house on last Saturday. Actually, it was Ben's house warming but we add it with a V.E. Retreat due to the celebration of the success of our concert, Les Voix. To make things easier, I guess having a retreat and a house warming together would not only save time for preparation but also make things more fun.

Anyway, I was cooking my dumplings to share with the rest. Morning was a bad day for me as I got scalded a few times by the frying pan. At one point, I scalded myself and bang my head at the vaccum, which is the top of the stove, which is said to suck the oil or something. Well, I guess I was too tall. My mum and sister never have the chance to hit their heads on that thing but I always do since I moved into this house. Dont ask me why, its either my head hits that vaccum or else the cabinet, which was left unclosed, situated next to the vaccum. ZZzz... Rotten luck...

Once cooking was done, I went to meet Reeza to collect the V.E. concert disc and then, head down to Yishun to meet Auntie Emily. Haha... She had made jelly for everyone. COOL!! Serangoon was quite far and luckily with Ben's help, we got to take a bus at Bishan with Paul and Danny to reach the destination faster. If not, 2 blur sotongs will be travelling all the way to Serangoon by MRT. Haha...

Most of them were already in Ben's house and guess what, the whole dining table is covered with food!! Everyone brought a dish over to share with everyone. Let me guess... There's Winnie's macaroni... Karen's vegetarian satay... Suii's Swissroll... Kah Hong's agar agar... Ben's Mee Siam... and MANY MANY MANY more!! You dont expect me to say everything out isnt it??!! Haha...

Soon, Mr Ong came and we watched the V.E. Concert clip together. Sorry for the "unedited version" of the clip as my friend didnt have time to edit it to its best. Hehe... Well, some of the funny incidents were saw on the clip. Pauline's smile to Ben to ask him to change his position... Suii's singing with Gerald in the encore piece... Sheryl's waving at her friends without noticing the queue next to her is gone... blah blah blah... All sorts of funny things came out of nowhere but it was indeed the best concert I had for the past 2 years. Well done, V.E.!!!

As there was nothing to do, some went to played Mahjong while some played Taboo. I enjoyed Taboo but the problem was I have difficulty describing the information to the rest of the group. I ended up using the Lame language to get everyone to guess the right words. Haha... After that, we had 5-10, which is a hands game and the loser will need to eat the food as we have plenty left. I guess it was a nice game, with everyone clearing the food and by night, no one is feeling hungry or complaining to have food for dinner. It was 3 meals in 1 day for some... Just like some Auntie who never had her breakfast... LOL!!

Once everything was over, the rest went to Cathay to watch a movie but heard they ended up going to Ben and Jerry to chit chat and play "True or Dare"... Cool! Luckily I wasnt around or else all secrets of mine will be exposed. Haha... Paul, Emily and I went to took the train back. Paul alighted at Orchard, Emily back to Yishun and I back to Woodlands.

For me, the day didnt end, with soccer straight after the feasting, it was very hard for me to run around... However, I guess I really need all the running and training. Why? That's because I'm getting fat... OMG!! Thats very bad!! -.-"
