Since I’m still awake and not yet ready to sleep, let me just do some blogging instead. Hehe… It’s gonna be a short post about the past 2 days of event.

Lunchtime concert was on Wednesday. Actually, before I went for V.E., I had met Emily and the rest for a swim at Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex. I really wanted to swim as I have not entered the water for a long time. I need some time to recall my strokes for my butterfly and backstroke. Haha…

Well, these are the list of people who were there: Emily, Cai Yun, Pauline, Ping Ding, Shuai Xun, Winnie, Yi Tian. Throughout the whole swim, Emily did not swim at all. She was dipping herself in the pool. Alright, I know she’s scared of swimming but hope she will try to swim the next time we come to the pool. Hehe… While the funny thing was Yi Tian; she was feeling so high that I have no comments about it. Thinking about it once again makes me want to laugh. Haha…

Once the swim was over, we went back to E309 for the preparations of the Lunchtime concert. I was not feeling that good with my voice as it was hoarse and not at the right conditions for singing, especially the parts of “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”. Holly Gosh!!! However, everything was quite fine during the performance. I managed to pull through the whole songs with my weird and funny voice. Phew!! -.-“

Next up, back to sports!!! We had table tennis and badminton during the afternoon. Emily, Yi Tian, Winnie, Ping Ding and Shuai Xun!! Hehe… Well, Ping Ding’s table tennis was a killer. Imagine it’s a bullet, I guess I would be wounded and sent to the hospital at the end of the game. Haha… The rest went back to rest while Emily and I stayed behind to wash up before going to evening’s SPC concert at Esplanade. Something funny happened while we got ready for wash up. I took out something by mistake from my bag and Auntie Emily saw it. ~.~” Oops… Didn’t mean to take it out… Its an accident…

Seriously, WE can SING BETTER than SPC!!! The songs are quite alright, some are nice but it was quite a 1 man show. This guy, who is the ‘conductor’ I supposed was singing all 3 parts I guess. Weirdo… Well, at least NYPVE is more fun!! That is why when my friend looked at the rest of the members singing while walking back home after the performance, they were all asking “Is that part of the Lunchtime Concert performance?? Wow!! I didn’t know your club members are so HIGH!!” Haha… That’s V.E.!!

Well, for the next day, I had work in YCK Swimming Complex and guess what, I doze off during work!! =X I guess I was too tired but luckily, I was not reprimanded for my actions. I need to pay extra attention the next time I work. Well, the weather was very cold since it’s raining cats and dogs. I tried to hide myself from the cold wind but failed to do so. Luckily, I hide in the lifeguard room, like a mice, not getting out of its hole to avoid its pray.

Once work was over, I went back home, took some stuff and head to Pasir Ris to meet Auntie Emily. Hmmm… We ended up walking around Plaza Singapura and had our dinner at this outlet that sells desserts. The food was really tasty. We had our beef noodles but I ended up helping her to finish. Auntie Emily really has a SMALL appetite. LOL!! We also had a dessert, which has kiwi, mango and strawberry in it. Haha… Luckily she didn’t order the durian dessert or else, I will be crying and banging head all over the place. Haha… Once done, we went back home and end the day of this outing. I did enjoy myself, so thanks a lot, Auntie Emily!! =]

- Firduaz!! Hope your finger is alright after the operation on Wedesday…
