Soccer Madness~~
Blisters... That's the result of playing sports towards its extreme. I think I am not the only one who is facing blisters but there could be more people out there, who has suffered more pain than me in sports. Well, the only thing I could do now is rest, rest and more rest! Its not gonna be easy for me since I'm hyperactive all the time.
Well, Friday I was back in Poly to help Tang En and Bing for AWWA but my help was needed only for 10 minutes. Its alright for me but I get to hear shocking news from the rest. James Wong wants to have a 'Sport & Wellness song' that will be sang on some certain day, with dance steps and this and that being put on. Gosh!! Bei Yi was asking me to help her in the composing and I know nuts about composing a song with 'SPORTS' as its theme... Think I need to some brainstorming during the 1 week holidays.
I ended up playing soccer with my S.W. mates in school. Haha... Its fun playing soccer with James Tan. His pace, strength and technique is quite good. Both of us were fighting the ball and it seems that his stamina has not drop after the marathon. Well, there was a few tackles here and there but James Tan's tackle was the wrorst for me but the best for the match. He assumed that I gonna cut through the defence but I ended up passing the ball. He didnt have time to stop on his tracks and he slided me while I was flying to the another side. Haha... I was alright but still, it was a fun match!! ^.^
Straight away, I met Eugene and gang for soccer at Sembawang, and managed to score 2 goals. Well, a tap in after Eugene's shot and the other from Jimmy. I was exhausted by then and the blisters had worsen. Haha... I managed to bear with it but the next day there's soccer. Hmm... I dont know will the 2 goals be in the goal tally but I guess, it wont make a big difference at all.
The achievement that one has done is not as important as earning a prize for him. It is the hardwork that one gives to show that he or she has tried their best, now that's what better than a prize or achievement that one gets.Saurday morning was another soccer game. Feeling lazy in the morning, I met Auntie Emily and accompanied her to her workplace before heading back to Yishun. Yeah... Firstly, to waste some time and secondly, to get my toes o have more rest.
I managed to score a few goals but all was lucky. One of them was a throw from Jimmy (goalie) and the opponent heads it. Before the ball landed on the ground, I managed to connect my right foot with the ball, volleyed towards goal. Wow!! Its rare for me to do that... Haha.. The team was losing to others by a score of 3-2 all the time until I decided that I become the goalie for that game. We won 3-2. Haha... I was thinking that if I could perform well as a goalie on the SBM Soccer Challenge, must well I give it a try now??!! At least my blisters will have more time to heal?! The results showed it all and I guess, being a goalie for a day is not that boring.
Well, I guess its time to rest myself from soccer for a week? Maybe... I'm really lazy to blog now but I guess, I will list the events that I have done during the weekend..
-> Accompanied C.Y. to get TYR swimming accessories
(Sat)-> Out to see Yong Hong's performance in church
(Sun) -> Working at Yishun Swimming Complex
(Sun)Before I end, just a short comment here... Auntie Emily's purple eyes are scary... Haha... Kidding... That's the colour of her contact lenses thats all. LOL!! =P
