Sports for Few Days... School Reopens Tomorrow...
School starts tomorrow! I feel quite numb at the moment, with no special feelings about the reopening of school. Probably I’m just getting use to school these days, since I keep heading back to school for my CCA and other activities like gym session and Clubbcrawl. Well, tomorrow its school time. Like it or not, notes shall be read, exams will be sat, results will be out and stress will still be there. Plus, I still have an extra responsibility for the next 3 weeks, helping Andy to take down notes and send him school work since he’s still in Finland for the next 3 weeks. Haix… It’s tough to be a good guy sometimes.
Well, for the past few days, I was playing sports non-stop, which makes me jaded for yesterday night that I had to take a break from my swimming training and rest at home. Well, let’s begin with the start of my ‘exercise’ program.
Tuesday was my gym session, since I have not been going to the gym for quite some time and it should be. After a great workout, I still did not feel any soreness on my pectoralis major or deltoids. However, the next day to work, it hurts. The soreness came and it seems like I have not been training hard for the past few weeks of my fitness.
With my Wednesday used for rest, I went for work at the Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex in the morning. It is as boring as usual, especially when you are working at 8am with a pool with a few people in the morning and only one in the afternoon. The day got worsened thanks to the mosquitoes that keep bugging me for the entire day, ending up myself scratching non-stop.
The worst had not arrived till this man came to the pool, sitting at the canteen for nearly ½ hour before he approached me and asked me stupid questions. He looked manly, by looking at his face. However, if you looked again, he was carrying the bag, which the handle length is short, onto his shoulder, like what gals will do. Never mind about that, he walks like doing a catwalk and with his hand moved like a weird position that disgusted me. GAY!! I guess but it does make me feel sick that day seeing him.
Night was V.E. practice and we learnt a new song, which was quite easy, known as Peter Gunn. The music is very familiar, which seems to be heard over the show, Kung Fu, directed by Stephen Chow. Cool!! Well, I was tired that day since I only have a few hours rest in the club room after I finished my work. Although I feel the exhaustion, it is still a good thing to come for V.E. and learn something interesting; a new piece. =]
Thursday was another sports day, with soccer at East Coast Park indoor futsal court. It took me an hour to reach to East Coast by bus and cab. I lost my way and seriously, I hate travelling to East Coast Park at times as I kept losing my way. Maybe my sense of direction isn’t that good after all. I need to do something to improve my 5 senses of my body. Haha… Well, we played for 4 hours and I was very tired at the end of the day, ending up having a headache. Both feet were having blisters that I could not afford to run for next day’s soccer.
That night was Yun Ting’s birthday and I was late for the gathering. I went back to Canberra Secondary just to get my laptop before heading home for a shower and head to Ang Mo Kio for the gathering. It sounds stupid for wasting time to get the laptop but I really need it for that night’s webcam. I really need the webcam to do some personal stuff, to see someone every night. This is why technology is being used fully for me, especially when it comes to communication. =]
The dinner was at Suki Sushi and the funniest part was when we sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Yun Ting but in a soft tone. She doesn’t want everyone to look at our table for singing too loudly. LOL! Once we had dinner, the guys send Yun Ting and Ivy back to their home before they walked to Sembawang. For me, it will be a foolish idea to do it as by then, my chances of having webcam will be in vain. I took a bus and train back home when I walked to the nearest bus stop. I didn’t get to see Auntie Emily that night at her block, probably the timing was not right.
Friday was soccer in the night. I was tired but it was worthwhile to be awake in the morning to do the necessary stuff. I decided to prepare breakfast for Auntie Emily in the morning but then, she didn’t eat the food I prepared. I was the one who finished everything. I’m not greedy but she just doesn’t feel like eating. I wish to give her a surprise so I travelled down to her house. On the way, she called and I have to bluff her that I’m having a stomachache. Haha… Nice try!
Well, soccer was a tough one that night. I didn’t score any goal but missed a few chances. That sucks but still, when we learn to win, we still need to learn how to manage defeats. We lost the game by a goal down; with the score at 4-3. Charity soccer for the Canberra Alumni Day is coming soon and to think again, with such a team, it seems that we need to be more prepared with our tactics before stepping the pitch to defeat our opponents.
Saturday morning was basketball and it’s good to see some old friends to be playing together at times. I have not seen Raymond, Wai Chung and Fairus for some time so I organized a game the day before. Well, by 11 plus, everyone went back home as it was exhausting. By then, I was having a slight headache again. I didn’t go for my swimming training that night as I was having a slight headache. I went to took some rest at 5 plus and woke up at 8pm to watch the match between Chelsea and Manchester United. Chelsea won and I have nothing to say about it. They were great but it should be the best for Frank Lampard, as it is a tribute to his Mum, even though he’s not around.
Well, I guess I shall stop here. For the many days of exercising, I feel the fatigue of my body muscles for the past few days but I manage to go on. I’m trying to aim to be stronger and getting fit enough for the competition. What matters most is to stay healthy and being well-built. However, at the end, I still need to cut down my tummy fats, because I kept being labeled as 'fat' by someone. Haha… Kidding, probably just toning my abdominal muscles that’s all.
