Soccer, Basketball, Swimming, Roller-blading!!!
My toe is swollen and it is hurting for no reason. I played soccer on Friday, Basketball on Saturday morning and swimming at night. I don’t feel the pain at all for the past 2 days and today? … Gosh?!! What’s wrong with my body? Weird… -.-“
Friday’s soccer was disastrous, with 2 loses and a win. Before I head on for that, I had ‘dinner’ with Auntie Emily at Yishun. Tasty laksa that spice up your life, and me, who could not take too spicy food, started to come out with stupid sounds from my mouth, craving for water to kill the flames in my mouth.
Well, for soccer, I did not score a goal but at least, I assisted a goal for Jimmy, with an essential pass that makes a difference for the first game. However, the second game that I played was really bad. Is it fatigue or just plain stubborn? I don’t know but all I could say I could not play well and losing my position all the time. Confusion with the back-line might be the reason for that. Alumni Day Soccer for Canberra Secondary is coming soon and what kind of torture are we facing with such play? Gosh… Someone please give me a lifeline?
Basketball was pathetic that morning, with only Wai Chung, Raymond, Jia Long and I playing. Fun as usual but I was a lucky person. I just came, did a 3-pointer shot and guess what, I managed to score 6 times from one area to another continuous, at the 3-point area. WOOT!! Just a few simple games and a match and we head back for home.
My day did not end so easily as I feel like cooking at home, thanks to the pasta I ate a few days ago that gives me the interest to try cooking. Anyway, the food was tasty and has no ‘poison’ in it. Every one who ate it was all safe and sound. Haha… Nights was swimming and guess what, it was fun being a coach in replica, where I got my friends to do various sets to train our backstroke and butterfly stroke. Cool isn’t it. Gosh! I hope we get to do this every week, as I’m motivated to kill the fats on my abs, to make sure I’m not labeled ‘FAT’ by someone. =X
Back to today’s story, it was East Coast Park cycling with the V.E. peeps. Cai Yun, Kah Hong, Paul, Ping Ding, Xiu Hui, Eric, Benjamin, Winnie, Auntie Emily and I were there for all the fun and laughter. Some were cycling and some, roller-blading. I was cycling at first but since Paul was facing difficulty with his blading, I gave it a try and guess what, I was feeling comfortable with it, blading for nearly 2 hours. Gosh! I don’t blade at all, just do ice skating. Hence, it is a MIRACLE to blade today. Haha…
Some of us got injuries while blading. I got mine from Auntie Emily’s bicycle, which the wheel hits my leg while I hold onto her to be my catalyst to move forward. Kah Hong and Cai Yun had wounds that need some antiseptics to prevent infections on them. Winnie and Ping Ding had fell many times as they are not good with blading yet wish to try. Now that’s what I call the spirit to try! Haha…
Well, I hope to upload pictures of that as soon as possible. One day of fun, and tomorrow, its time for school again. Yeah! Fun time is short but it is more important, especially using the time wisely and spent it for fun and laughter. =]
