Holidays Starting... Haix...
Nothing much today... Right now, I'm watching the first match of the Euro 2008 on my television, as well as typing this post with my laptop. Well, Switzerland vs. Czech Republic and the current score is 0 - 0. What the... Everyone did their misses with their shots and I have nothing to say.
Before that, Singapore lost to Uzbekistan, again, but with a better score of 1 - 0, compared to its previous scoreline, 7 - 3. Althought both defeats, I think Singapore did pretty well with the play, I guess. I did not watch the match as I was outside jogging with Cai Yun. Yes! 11pm around Woodlands area. Cai Yun wanted to train her run, part of her prepartions for the coming July 'Shape Run', which dear Auntie Emily will be joining too. The only difference between the 2 of them is one runs for 5km, while the other, 10km. LOL! Cai Yun did her best today with approximately 4km, for about 30 minutes or so. It was a new beginning for her since she had not been training for the past few weeks. Anyway, you did well Cai Yun, don't lose faith in your run. =]
For the entire today, I was working at the Yishun Swimming Complex. I was not feeling that good for no particular reason. I was just moody, plain moody. I talked to the parents without hanging a smile on my face, I was fierce and harsh with the kids... Maybe that is part of the job but it does not make my day go great. I think I got better with my mood when its evening, probably after I had my break time or because working hours are getting shorter by each second that passed.
Well, two incidents that occured to me did affect me greatly today. The serious one, was when a kid ran and fell, hitting his head on the metal flooring. I have no idea of the kid's run but when I saw it, I walked to the father, who was then carrying the helpless kid; who was crying; and asked how was his condition. The father seemed to be angry but to me, I can't do anything either. I do fear that the father will complain for my negliance but for once, how am I supposed to watch out for so many kids with a pair of eyes. He didn't blame me, so I also did not do anything. Luckily, the kid was not suffered with serious injuries. Phew~!
The other incident was when a mother and her two sons went to the Wading Pool to play the slide. First, the kids were playing the slide. No objection from at all since they fit the category for the play. Then, the mother went to play the slide. No choice but I must blow my whistle to warn the lady. What the lady did? She climbed up the slide... Great! Now thanks to what she had done, the kids started to learn from her. They slide down, not really all the way down, then climbed up again. So it went up and down, up and down, which was resulted me blowing the whistle at them. The mother shouted at them to get them down the slide and they did. Guess what happened next, the mother whacked the arse of both kids for being disobedient. -.-" Er... the phrase was "Monkey see, Monkey do" and when the parent did something stupid, the kid followed, of course! So, who's fault was it, the kids? Or the parent? LOL!!
Well, yesterday I had soccer with Eugene and gang. Bad day for the team, as Eugene got a sprain on his ankle just 15 minutes of the game. He had no choice but to rest for the entire matches that we played. We won the first game but for me, it was not that good at all. I was still rated as 'INJURED' but I still contiue to play. I could run but my movements were slow and I could not make big movements like stretching my leg or do a full stretch being a goalie.
Well, I was the goalie for the 2nd game and we lost, thanks to a blunder from me. I hold the ball but the person kicked it back. It happened a few times when I hold the ball and yet the guy keeps kicking, as if he does not know what is fair play. You know the goalie gets the ball and you wants to kick the damn ball. Since you need it badly, why play? Should I just put the ball past my own goal, and let you have the ball and play on your own till you are satisfied? Crazy fellow... ZZzzz.... Andy was not to be blame for the mistake but seriously, when one has an injury, it is really difficult to play. The rest of the soccer was bored but at least, I still can run about.
Earlier on, I was in Canberra Secondary in the morning to do my project but V.J. was not free. I didnt do the project at the end of the day. I went back to Nanyang Polytechnic and past my lappy to Kah Hong as I promised him I'll pass it to him. However, I ended up doing nothing for the next two hours, but luckily, I came out with some questions for my interview with my coach, for Coaching module. Gosh! I really hope to do lots of things during the 2 weeks break but too many stuff to do that I have no time for that. Haix... Better luck next time, hope so...
Day 2 has Gone...Still missing you...Life is weird when you are gone...Why? I dont know...Just cant adapt to such small things in life...
